*Outside of the New York City Courthouse*

Former SVU Detective Brian Cassidy looked around, seemingly waiting for something, when a yellow taxi pulled up in the street next to him. The back door opened and none other than Ana, herself, stepped out. The man had a smile on his face but it quickly faded once he saw hers.

"Jesus, Shorty, what the Hell happened?!" Brian demanded.

"Oh, I'd forgotten how overprotective you all were. I'm fine. This happened a little less than a week ago on a case that went bad." The brunette explained before letting a slight glare slip onto her features. "And what have I told you about calling me that?"

"Only one man is aloud to and I am most certainly not him. I know, I know." He playfully rolled his eyes and pulled her into a hug. "It's been too damn long."

"I know. I really do need to come out here more often." She sighed as they separated.

"Nice hat." Brian commented, just now taking notice of it.

"Thanks." Ana blushed a bit before taking on a sad look. "How are you holding up?"

"A lot better now that you're here." He answered, honestly. "Liv showed up at my apartment a few hours before I called you. She told me that her newest victim had committed suicide and she was led to Dolan's magic shop where she thinks they met. Liv recognized my face in a photo he had behind the counter." Brian recalled, remembering the events that had occured last night. "I didn't tell her anything, though. I just. . . couldn't."

"I understand." The brunette assured, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I know you do and I'm grateful for it." He nodded.

She just gave him a smile in response before changing the subject.

"Come on, let's go have a chat with one of my least favorite people on the planet." Ana muttered and they began walking towards the Courthouse. "Seriously though, out of all the people you could've blurted this out to why did it have to be Peter Stone?"

Brian merely laughed and the two made their way towards a food truck where the ADA happened to be standing at.

"Get a green juice?" He requested from the vendor.

"A green juice?" The Detective scoffed. "What a shock."

"And a coffee." Stone added upon seeing him.

"Black. And make it two." Brian called right as Ana appeared in the ADA's view.

"I'm okay, actually." She shook her head. "Thanks, though."

"What is she doing here?" Stone demanded.

"Last night I told you Liv was one of two people to ever see any good in me." The Detective reminded the other man.

"Of course, why wouldn't it be her sister?" He groaned.

"Trust me, Stone, I wouldn't have come within a thousand feet of you unless I thought it was absolutely necessary." Ana spat.

"So what's up?" The ADA wondered, handing Brian his coffee and choosing to ignore the brunette for the most part.

The woman in question was a hundred percent okay with that and fell into step on Brian's left while Stone did the same on his right.

"I've been going through the social media pages. Some of these kids I played Youth League with." The Detective informed, pausing to take the lid off of his drink and take a sip. "There's a few boys there this guy Dolan may have targeted. Can I ask you a question, Stone? If something happened back then, I mean, it's too late to prosecute now, right?" He inquired.
