*Firehouse 51: Chief's Office*

The owner was leaning back on his desk with Kelly on his right and Matt on his left. Joe was standing next to his Lieutenant and held a phone in his outsretched hand. He tapped the screen with the other while Hank, Ana, and Jay watched from where they were standing by the door.

The video showed a firefighter by the name of Calvin Suggs handing his company's lockbox key off to someone else as they pulled up in front of Firehouse 66.

"Last person I would've expected." Joe sighed. "The guy's solid."

"He's clearly handing his key off." Kelly retorted. "He's probably not even participating in the burglaries himself. There's got to be a reason he's doing this."

"Key's still out there." Joe shrugged. "I think Suggs is trying to get it back."

"Joe, did you see the license plate?" Ana inquired.

"No, sorry." He shook his head.

"All right. I'll run make and model, have OEMC any calls of suspicious activity in the zone of the burglaries to us." Jay offered. "We'll be in front of the next one."

"All right, good, get an emergency ping order on Suggs' phone. Let's bring him in fast." Hank commanded.

The Detective nodded and rushed out of the room.

"You're arresting a Chicago Firefighter for using CFD property in a string of burglaries." Matt pointed out.

"Matt, it's better for everyone if we bring him in before news travels through the department." Ana explained, gently.

"Look, I spent time with Suggs and he's not some hardened criminal, he's a good guy." Joe insisted. "He just. . .he seemed in over his head."

"All right, Joe, we hear ya. Listen, as soon as we have him, I'll talk to him." Hank assured, giving him a friendly pat on the shoulder. "Appreciate it, Joe."

He left the Office and Ana gave each of the four firefighters a quick hug before following after her husband.

*A Little While Later: Old Parking Garage*

Hank and Ana got called on scene after the Team's search for Suggs had led them straight to his body left abandoned in a car.

"Two 9mm, both contact wounds. The thing happened fast. There's no sign of struggle in the car." Kim informed, walking over to the two Sergeants and her partner from said vehicle.

"You're thinking he let the offender in the car with him?" Antonio inquired.

"Yeah, I think he knew him." The Officer nodded. "Let's- let's say the guy parks in the alley, walked downstairs to meet Suggs, shot him as soon as he got in the car."

"Guys, there's no cameras, no PODs outside or in. So they were very much alone down here." Adam called from where he'd just ducked underneath the red tape.

"Did you find a cell phone or the lockbox key?" Ana wondered.

"Doesn't look like the key's here. The phone's on its way to OCD tech." Jay replied as he walked over to the small group.

"Okay, patrol searched the whole perimeter, they got nothing, now they're doing walk and talks a couple of blocks away, but the streets are dead." Kevin added from where he and Hailey were standing a few feet behind him.
