I walked to the shore till I reached the side of the ocean. The breeze blew my hair away while the soles of my feet were covered with white sand and insulated them from the scorching heat of the sands. But it became cold when I felt the water from the small waves come to my side.

I inhaled the sea breeze to refreshened my mind and exhaled it gratefully. I put my palm under my eyes and looked up at the sky. I raised my hand, using it as a cover from the sun. I forgot to bring my sunglasses, good thing I'm wearing my favorite beach hat.

I'm still afraid, but since I want to overcome my fear of the ocean and to do that, I must face this bravely... At least I manage to get near the sea, but I still can't swim or be in the water. But I'm so glad that I made such significant progress. I didn't know it would be so refreshing.

"Ang ganda talaga rito sa baybayin," I heard Aia talked behind me.

I turned to her and smiled. "Yeah... It is very calm and peaceful..." I murmured.

I watched Aia have fun while she was swimming in the ocean. I was just sitting from the corner, burying my feet on the white sand, laying my back on the coconut tree while reading a book. It's a love story titled In Another Life.

I don't believe in past life or reincarnation to exist. But after reading this novel, I wanted to think that it was true, and I even wish for it to become true. So that people who didn't have happy endings could still have another chance in their another life, a new beginning in a new life.

When the setting sun reached the horizon, I placed the book above my shoes and stood up to take a picture. I clicked the camera to capture the sunset. But then suddenly, the wind blew, taking my beach hat and flying away from my head. Shit! That's far! It was my favorite hat! There's no way I will allow myself to lose that here just because it was blown away by some stupid sea wind!

I ran to retrieve my favorite hat. It was good that it didn't land in the ocean because it landed on the sand instead. I was about to pick it up, but before I could even touch it, someone else hand-picked it for me. I gradually accepted it without looking at whoever it was. I just rubbed the hat to remove the sand on it.

"Thank you," I said while brushing the sand on my hat.

"You're beautiful."

I was busy wiping the sand away on my hat when I heard a man's voice speak, my head immediately looked up to see who it was, and the moment our eyes met. He flashed a friendly smile at me. My mouth opened to say something, but I couldn't find any words to say. I was just staring at him.

He was tall, and the mole near his pointed nose was visible enough that it added to his fierce feature and made him look more attractive. His monolid deep brown eyes pierce through my soul whenever it gazes at me. I felt a chill within me. I have never seen him before, but he looks familiar to me...

Wait. He looked like the man in my dreams! I had goosebumps when he resembled the man in my dreams. What the heck is wrong with me?!

"Sometimes our dreams come true or tell a story of a future event. If your dream started to play out in real life, it's most likely due to coincidence or bad memory."

That was what my Doctor said to me when I asked him if it would be possible for my dreams to happen or become true in real life. I just randomly asked that question. I didn't know it would solve the mystery I'm seeing now.
