I watched from the doorway of the weapons room, as the boys geared up for their meeting with l'manburg. There was a knock at the front door when Sapnap and George finished putting on their armor. The three boys shared a look before Sapnap and George left to answer the door.
"Do you need any help?" I asked quietly, while slowly walking over to Dream.
"No. I've done this a thousand times. I don't need any help." I walked past him and picked up his helmet before turning around and placing it on his head. "I said I didn't need any help." He said staring down at me.
"I know. But I wanted to." I smiled up at him.
"Your still not coming with." He said while adjusting his chest plate. Damn. He's good.
"Damn mind reader." I mumbled pouting, as I walked to the door. He chuckled.
"I'm sorry, but l'manburg is still looking for you and we don't know why." He spoke while following me to the door.
"Then ask them." I said turning around to face him. Well, his mask. My abrupt stop made it so he was only a couple inches away from me. Shit. He's close. Like really close.
"If I ask them about you then they'll know your here." He said. His voice was low and he wore a playful smirk. He didn't move when he spoke. He stayed only inches away from my face. What is happening right now? My heart sped up and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"W-we don't k-know that." I stuttered out in a whisper. I couldn't move. I was frozen. Is it possible I could of easily stepped back separating us? Yes. but...did I want to?
"We also don't know that they won't know." He said, voice still low.
"What?"
"What."
What the hell is happening!
I heard someone clear their throat from behind me. Dream instantly took a step back, looking up at the culprit.
"As interesting enough as this is to watch, we've got to go." Sapnap said from the door. Of course it's Sapnap.
"Alright be there in a second." Dream said to the man behind me. This is so embarrassing. Dream looked back down at me.
"We'll be back in at least two hours if anything goes south." He said before walking around me to leave. I turned to the door as he walked out.
"And if it goes well?" I questioned. He paused.
"Then it'll only be a minute princess." He said smirking as he walked out. What. The. Fuck. Did he just call me princess? Where did that come from? What the hell was that?! He was so close-
I heard the front door close, pulling me out of my thoughts. He was crazy if he thought I was actually going to stay here. I quickly grabbed an axe and ran to my room for my hoodie. I then quietly slipped out the front door and followed the boys to their meeting.
I was a good distance behind them. I watched them from a hill as they made their way to their destination. There were a couple times when Dream would turn in my direction, and I would fall to the ground hoping he didn't see me. He never did, or at least he never said anything. I decided staying on the hill was as close as I was going to get without Dream, or someone else noticing me.
I watched as they stopped in the open field of grass, as another group of people emerged from a hill in the distance. L'manburg. I couldn't see what any of the members looked like, due to the fact that I was so far away. But I'm guessing the two people standing at the front where Wibur and Tommy. The rest of l'manburg stayed on top of the hill. I was able to make out some of the two boys features as they approached Dream.
