Digimon Tri: Fusion Evolution

Episode 3: Forced Evolution

"Lord Apocalymon, sir, our generals have found the golden Digieggs." A Devimon told the most evil Digimon in all of Digi-World.

"Good, good. Bring them back here. I have a special promotion for them." Apocalymon's eyes glowed red as he laughed maniacally. "With their Digieggs, I will have the power to force Fusion Evolution on them."

Tai sighed softly, sitting down on a rock. There was almost nothing he could think of to get Agumon to digivolve.

"We have to find a way to digivolve. We need to!" Matt said. He leaned against the cave wall, closing his eyes. If only Gabumon were here, he'd know what to do.

"We have the new digivices. Maybe now we can digivolve with them?" T.K. asked, holding up the green Fusion Loader.

"Maybe so," Sora said. "But will we need to be in danger for it to happen, like before?"

"There are two many new variables in this equation." T.K. sighed. "We could use Izzy's help."

"I'll text him." Tai said. He sent a message to the real world, hoping Izzy would get it and come help them.

Meanwhile, Lapis and Caitlin were in need of help. One of Apocalymon's generals, Devimon, stood before them, holding up a dark Fusion Loader.

"Force Digivolution!" Devimon cried. A sphere of dark aura emerged from the screen before shooting out and hitting Kangarumon and Lynxmon. The two cried out in pain as they were forced to fuse together.

"Kangarumon!" Lapis cried.

"Lynxmon!" Caitlin shouted. She turned on Devimon. "Why are you doing this?! We work for you!"

"I'm only doing what Lord Apocalymon told me to do." Devimon cackled evilly.

Lapis froze. After all she and Caitlin had done for Apocalymon, he turned on them for the power of their armor Digimon? She clenched her fists and jaw. She was furious.

Kangarumon and Lynxmon emerged from the dark aura. Now, they were one Digimon. "Mephistomon!" It cried.

Mephistomon was a tall, dark Digimon. It had long black horn and wings. It had a white ram's face with purple hair. It had a purple body with purple limbs. It's arms were striped with red and black. It's hands were white and it's feet were large black hooves.

"That's an ultimate level Digimon!" Caitlin cried.

"Go get the help of the Digidestined!" Lapis shouted.

"Black Sabboth!" Mephistomon cried. He chanted an incantation that would kill anyone who heard it. Lapis shoved Caitlin, then used her Fusion Loader to send Caitlin back to the cave where they found their Digieggs.

Caitlin shielded herself from the light, then blinked open her eyes. She glanced around and released she was in the cave.

"Hello?!" She shouted. Her sweet voice echoed around the rocky walls.

Davis was the first one to hear her voice. He and Veemon ventured off, hoping to find the source of the voice. When he found her, he was shocked.

"What are you doing here?" Veemon snarled.

"I need your help!" Caitlin cried.

"Why would we help you?" Davis asked, looking away with his arms crossed.

"Because Devimon attacked us! He forced Kangarumon and Lynxmon to Fusion evolve! They are now Mephistomon, and Ultimate Level dark Digimon!" She explained. Everything about her screamed that she was scared. She needed help to save her friends.

Davis sighed and turned to Veemon. "We better tell the others."

"Right!" Veemon nodded. The three ran back to where the others are.

"Davis! There you are!" Kari said. She was the first to spot him.

"What is she doing here?" Matt asked. He didn't want to see Caitlin anytime soon.

Caitlin quickly explained her predicament. She needed to act fast, because she had no idea how long Lapis could last.

Lapis could feel herself getting weaker and weaker. She knew she would die if a miracle didn't happen.

She looked up with her blue eyes, seeing Caitlin and the other Digidestined running towards her. They had two Digimon, Agumon and Veemon. They were both rookies, what could they do?

"Dark Cloud!" Mephistomon shouted. Everything around them started to decay, even the Digimon.

"We've got to do something!" Sora cried.

Lapis's Fusion Loader screen glowed bright yellow. The Crest of Miracles glowed gold against it.

"I can feel power surging through me!" Agumon cried.

"Me too!" Veemon said.

"Agumon digivolve to......" Suddenly, in place of the yellow lizard was a giant orange dinosaur with blue striped. A brown horned helmet covered his head. "Greymon!"

"Veemon digivolve to...." The tiny blue lizard grew in size. Large white wings grew out of his back. A large grey horn was protruding from his nose. He had a great V imprinted on his chest with two more little marks making it look like an ex. "ExVeemon!"

"Digifuse!" Lapis cried. Suddenly, both ExVeemon and Greymon formed into one being. A giant red four legged dragon with large grey wings and small black stripes took their place. It had a golden double coned-shape on its tail, and similar, smaller shapes on ringlets surrounding its wings. A large grey horn protruded from its face. It has a mane of white fur on its head and neck. "DoruGreymon!"

"Whoa!" Tai gasped. "They fused..."

"Go DoruGreymon!" Davis cheered.

"Metal Meteor!" DoruGreymon shouted. It fired a super massive iron ball at Mephistomon, hitting him square in the chest. The dark Digimon flew backwards, falling to the ground.

"Get up, Mephistomon, and destroy them all!" Devimon shouted.

"Bloody Tower!" DoruGreymon screamed. He rushed forward and skewered Mephistomon with his horn. He flung him up towards the sky, watching as he crashed down to the ground.

"Uh-oh, this looks bad!" Devimon cringed. He took off, too much of a coward to stay and do his own dirty work.

Mephistomon dedigivolved into Gaomon and BlackGatomon. DoruGreymon did the same, turning into Veemon and Agumon.

"You're okay!" Caitlin cried, hugging her partner close.

"Ma'am!" Gaomon shouted, running forward. He dropped to his furry knees next to his partner.

"You're... okay..." She smiled weakly at her partner, before collapsing to the ground.

"Lapis!!" Gaomon screamed.
