T.K. sighed to himself, Patamon in his lap. Thanksgiving was tomorrow, and he and his mom would be spending it alone. He wished badly he and his mom could spend the holiday with Matt and their dad.

"T.K., what's wrong?" Patamon asked, peering up at his friend.

T.K. shook his head. "I want to spend tomorrow with Matt and my dad."

"I'm sorry, T.K." Patamon frowned. He wrapped his tiny arms as best as he could around his partner, trying to cheer him up.

T.K.'s mom stood outside her son's door. She frowned deeply, not caring about frown wrinkles. She wanted to make her son happy. If her ex husband was willing, she'd make sure her sons spent the holiday together.

Lapis packed her bags. She was going to visit her family in the U.S.A. Caitlin would be going, to, but to a completely different state than Lapis. Michaela was also from the U.S.A. The three knew if they, or the others here in Japan needed them, they'd all go to the Digital World.

"Ma'am?" A sleepy Wanyamon asked.

"Hm?" She hummed in response, tying up her blue hair so it was out of her face. She needed it redone soon.

"Why are you packing so many things?" The little blue furball asked, rubbing his amber eyes with his tail.

"We will be in Michigan for the next few months." The girl responded.

"Why?" Wanyamon asked. He was much more alert now. Lapis's family knew about Wanyamon, now that Lapis was no longer fighting on the bad side. He didn't understand why he couldn't stay here, with all the other Digimon.

"We have to spend Thanksgiving, my birthday, and Christmas with my family." Lapis explained. She zipped up her suit case and picked up her partner, snuggling him. "We can still see the others whenever we need to, in the Digital World."

"Okay...." Wanyamon gave in. Then, he brightened, bouncing in her arms. "Will there be good food on Thanksgiving?"

"Oh, yes!" Lapis smiled. "Turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy and delicious deserts!"

"Yayyyyy!" Wanyamon yelled excitedly. He bounced all around the room.

"Lapis, let's go!" Her mom called.

Lapis grabbed her bags, Wanyamon tugging on one of the smaller bags' straps, and headed off. She was excited to go back home. She just hoped no Digimon ruined it.

Kari and Tai smiled at each other as they made sure their rooms were clean and the Digimon were behaving. Thanksgiving was being held at the Kamiya household this year, and they wanted to make sure their family wouldn't be disappointed in a messy room or something of the sorts, like their aunt had been a few years back.

"Kari?" Gatomon asked. She was perched on the window sill, her tail swinging back and forth.

"Yes, Gatomon?" She asked, looking over at her partner.

"Do we really have to stay in here like newborn kittens in a box being sold?" The cat Digimon frowned.

"Sorry, Gatomon, but we can't risk it." Kari replied.

"Why is that?" Agumon asked. For the holidays, the original Digimon came into the human world with the promise to do as told, like stay hidden.

"Just because our parents are okay with you, doesn't mean the rest of the family is." Tai replied as he finished smoothing out his bed spread.

"Will you still sneak us some turkey and pumpkin pie?" Agumon asked, rubbing one of his hands over his stomach.

"Sure thing, pal." Tai grinned, running a hand through his spiky hair.
