Amber eyes peeked from a bush, watching the Digidestined go through a TV back to their world. Once all of them were through, the body belonging to the eyes rushed over to have a look.

The blue and red dragon Digimon looked at the screen, but couldn't see anything. Where were the humans and their Digimon?

"Dracomon!" Someone shouted. The Digimon, Dracomon, turned and hurried towards the voice.

Meanwhile, Lapis and the others were exiting the school. Lapis couldn't shake the fact that her own friends were Digidestined and not even on her side. Sure, she changed sides, but that wasn't the point. She wondered how she and Caitlin themselves could have ever joined Devimon's army.

If it weren't for him, they never would have joined in the first place. If he hadn't gotten himself into trouble, everything would be okay.

"So, I say we should celebrate." Davis suggested with a large grin on his face.

"Celebrate?" Caitlin questioned, gently tilting her head to the side.

"We've defeated some of the bad guys, and we can all Fusion Evolve. That's worth celebrating, isn't it?" He replied.

"We should be working on a plan on what to do next!" Lapis argued, angry. How could they think of celebrating when things were as bad as they were with the Digital World?

"We can while we celebrate." Kari suggested.

"Ma'am, we'll have fun, I promise. We can plan to save your friends." Wanyamon said. Then, he flew his tail over his mouth, yellow eyes wide.

"Friends?" Tai asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

Lapis sighed. "Those two we fought... I know them. And the whole reason I was working for Devimon was to protect another friend of mine. Please, we need to save them."

"We will, I promise." Caitlin said, putting her hand on the blue haired girl's shoulder.

Meanwhile, Lunamon and Coronamon were training hard. They couldn't lose like that again.

"They got lucky, that's all." Coronamon commented.

Suddenly, a large green mantis like Digimon popped out of the woods nearby. He snarled and held up his scythe hands.

"It's Snimon!" Lunamon gasped.

"We can take him, he'll be good practice." Chase said determindly.

"Twin Cicles!" Snimon roared. His scythes shot pink crescents, crossing to form an attack.

"Digivolve!" Aubrey cried.

The attack was headed straight for the two humans. Their digivices glowed and Lunamon and Coronamon felt power surge through them.

"Lunamon digivolve to...."

"Coronamon digivolve to....."

The two formed into one being. This new Digimon was tall with a large orange hairstyle. It had red and silver spinning turbines on its legs and arms. It wore a black suit with white plated armor. "GrapLeomon!"

GrapLeomon blocked the attack. It snarled before charging at Snimon. "The Fist of The King!" The turbines on its arms began to spin wildly. It shot at Snimon, distorting gravity as the blow hit the bug's chest dead on.

Snimon went flying and dissolved into bits of data. GrapLeomon absorbed the data before turning back into Lunamon and Coronamon.

"That was amazing!" Aubrey cheered.

"It was. We are even stronger now." Chasr agreed. He looked to the sky, glaring. We'll defeat you, Digidestined.

The party Davis had thrown was nice. The Digimon got to play and eat while the Digidestined talked and laughed.

Lapis sat alone in the corner. She wasn't one for parties much.

Matt walked over to her, offering her a cup. Inside was punch.

"Thanks," Lapis mumbled, sipping her drink. Matt nodded and leaned on the wall next to her.

"Why are you alone?" He asked her, cobalt eyes closed.

"I don't like parties much." She shrugged.

"Are you worried about your friends?" Matt asked softly. As the holder of the Crest of Friendship, he knew how she felt.

"Very. Devimon could hurt them. He could poison their minds." Lapis sighed. She hated the thought of her best friends being hurt.

"We'll get them back to their senses, I promise." Matt said. He put his hand on her arm and offered her a smile. She returned the smile.

She was rather grateful for his friendlyness. He had always struck her as a lone wolf, much like herself at times.

"Matt! Lapis! Over here!" T.K. called. The two looked at each other before joining the other kids, happy to be apart of something.
