Jack's POV
When Ella saw Sam I was so confused. How in the world does she know him? Then she saw Nate and jumped in his arms. Do Ella and Nate have a past? I know that they both went to school together. She was a freshman when he was a senior. They're only three years apart. I look over and see Nate kiss Ella's forehead and hug her again.
"Why is he doing that to her?" I ask Sam.
"Um because they haven't seen each other in like three years." He says.
"So?"
"Why are you so mad?"
"Because that's my girlfriend right over there." I say folding my arms.
"Ella's your girlfriend?" Sam asks worried.
"Yea. Why? What's wrong with that?"
"Because Nate is Ella's brother." When Sam says that I freeze. Her brother?
"I-I thought he was dead?" I say out loud not meaning too.
"What do you mean?" Sam asks.
"Ella's brother Jared said that Nate killed himself because Ella didn't care for him. Then you sent her that death certificate thing which made it worse." I say putting my hands in my pockets.
"Why would Jared say that? He loves Ella to death."
"Because Ella bullied a kid and that kid's little brother hit Jared so he blamed everything on her." I say looking back up at Ella who was hugging Nate as he rocks them back and forth.
"She wouldn't bully anyone. She's too nice." Sam says.
"But she did." I argue.
"Stop saying that about her!" Sam says angrily and pushes back my shoulders. I get mad and reach for him. Then I hit him. We we end up starting to fight.
"Sammy! Jack! Stop!" A voice says. I ignore it and continue to fight with Sam. "Stop please!" this time I was able to hear who it was. It was Ella. Someone jerks me off of Sam. It wasn't Ella. It was Nate.
"What the hell Jack?" Nate shouts. I see Ella help Sam up.
"Get away from him Ella." I say to her. She looks at me confused.
"Jack what is up with you? We just saw them 10 minutes ago." Ella says glaring at me.
"He was bad mouthing you!" Sam says to her. She looks at me confused.
"I told him what happened on why Jared hates you and how you bullied kids." I say to her. She looks at me upset.
"J-Jared hates me?" She asks.
"I-I didn't mean that." I shout at she walks back onto the bus.
"You fucked up." Sam says following her. Nate stands there looking at me.
"You can't get her back easily now. No matter what your relationship with her was." Nate says as we sit on the curb.
"I have to."
"Why's that?" He asks.
"I love her." I tell him. He looks at me.
"You love her?" He asks. I nod in response. "Then why the hell did you tell her that the one thing she cares for hates her?" He shouts.
"I didn't mean to. It slipped out. He told her that you killed yourself because she didn't care for you." I tell him. He sighs.
"Ella loves Jared to death. He was her everything." Nate says pulling his hands up to his head. "If anything bad happened to Jared she would always blame herself."
"When we were just friends she told me how after you left her dad beat her. Never Jared. She thought you left because of her. She felt like everything was her fault." I tell him. He shakes his head.
"I left to pursue my dreams. When Ella graduated I wanted to move her out here with me. She would be with me and Sammy." Nate explains.
"Speaking of Sam. Why does he get defensive over Ella?"
"They have been friends since him and I have been friends. Best friends actually. Sammy is like my brother. He always looked out for Ella though. From the first day he met her I saw how he looked at her. He really did like her. They dated for a while but it got a little awkward. He's always loved her since. He still does. He just doesn't want her to get hurt that's all." Nate explains. Sam loves Ella? What?
"Oh. I'm just saying he needs to control himself then." I state.
"Why?" Nate asks.
"Because she's my girlfriend. I don't want anything to happen to her either."
"Then go in there and talk to her. She is very understanding." Nate tells me as he stands up and walks into the bus. I do the same and walk to Ella who is sitting on Sam's bunk.
"Hey can we talk?" I ask.
"No. We can't." She says and gets up.
"Ella please?" I plead. She pushes past me and walks off the bus. I follow her. "Ella please."
"What is it Jack?" She asks.
"I'm sorry for attacking Sam. It just pissed me off how he hit me. I don't take that well." I explain.
"Jack you don't hit people unless you have a real reason. I hit people because they shit talk Nate! He's my brother!" She shouts.
"I understand that and I'm sorry. I know I fucked up bad. I don't want to fight. I love you too much to loose you over this." I say to her. She nods.
"I understand. I don't want this to break us either." She says walking over to me. "Let's go on a walk." She says grabbing my hand. I follow her and we walk back towards the park.
As we walk past this old building I hear voices. Multiple.
"I love you." Ella says stopping and looking up at me. I smile. The moon lighting makes her look so beautiful. Her green eyes sparkling and her skin glowing. She was so beautiful it drives me insane.
"I love you too." I say and lean my head down to kiss her. My lips press against her soft gentle ones. They move in sync until she pulls away roughly. I'm pushed to the ground.
When I look up I see Ella being pushed into a van.
"Jack!" She screams and gets pushed back and the doors slam.
"Ella!" I shout and quickly get up. The van pulls off with Ella in it.
My love just got kidnapped. Only God knows what's going to happen to her.
