Luciano's POV
*
I was woken up to weird sounds coming from beside me. Opening my eyes, my hand was already on my gun under my pillow, ready to shut the intruder up.
"I want to kiss you Riley. I like you. Don't stop chasing me. Do more. Do harder. Kiss me. Yes baby." Leo's annoying voice was like the buzz of a fly, making me groan aloud as I sat up groggily.
"Fuck off Leo."
"Oh please. Give me some juicy details." Leo begged, stars practically coming out of his eyes as he rubbed his palms together. He looked ridiculous in pajamas. Doesn't he even have his own house? I don't want him leeching off me and also intruding my space at the same time.
"There's nothing to tell. And those disturbing sounds you're making, makes you sound ridiculous."
He chuckled. "Okay. I have a question for you though."
"What?"
"Why would you tell Riley she's fat? For goodness sake, how would you tell that to a lady?!" He shrieked.
"I..." I trailed off, thinking about it. She had truly added some fat and he'd also told me to compliment her. Yes, I didn't lie about that like he told me to do sometimes but I was a King. A King never goes through corners but says things directly. "I told the truth." I told him.
"Thank God for the Bluetooth. She could've totally smacked you and ran out of the room if I didn't correct your words. I knew you would say something embarrassing. Sigh. You have a lot to learn."
Did he just mention something about Riley smacking me? I couldn't even imagine Riley doing so. The thought couldn't be processed, it was ridiculous. "She would never."
He chuckled. "Look man, take things slow with her. You guys are doing this for the first time and might unintentionally hurt each other's feelings or you might say things you don't mean. Also, never tell a lady she's fat. Even if she's as big as a trailer, tell her she looks pretty. Tell her her cheeks are rosy and kissable, tell her she has thick thighs you'll like to grab while kissing her. Never say it in a way that's weird or offensive. Also, people date before marriage. I remember you saying something like 'you're not ready for marriage. You have to date and then if you think she's compatible, propose to her. But you'll figure it out along the way."
I stared at him for some seconds and heaved a sigh. "Fine. I'll do better. I'm only allowing you dictate me this once though, never again. And you've still not given me that dating book you mentioned."
He patted my shoulder. "There might not even be a need for it since you've read the first two books. At least now you know how to be blunt with your intentions, which will help Riley understand your feelings more since you don't talk much. Now, have you told her?"
"About...?"
"You know. The stuff. About her..."
"No. I can't."
"What do you mean you can't?" He shouted and my eyes instantly narrowed into a glare at him. He instantly zipped his lips shut and raised up his arms in surrender.
"I can't tell her. Never bring this up again."
"Yes your highness. Anyway, are you guys now official?"
"Yes. I made her my girlfriend." I told him seriously.
"Ugh. You sound too serious. Let me tell you one thing, you have to be more relaxed around her. No matter how whipped a girl is for you, if she notices you're always too professional, she will dump you and go for a guy like me."
