Yoshikawa thought (or more so had hoped) that Hinata would forget about his stupid little promise he made to her the next day, but nope, he didn't. So, when lunch rolled around the next day and she was in the yard practicing by herself...

"Yoshikawa-san! Let's practice!"

The brunette blinked rapidly as she saw the easily excited short boy stand before at the exact same spot he did the last day. She momentarily forgot the ball she was bouncing up and down on her arms and it dropped on to the ground.

"You came back?" She asked as she picked up the ball from the ground.

Hinata smiled at her, "Of course! I said so, didn't I?"

At this point she didn't know if she should be annoyed or be moved that he was so persistent to practicing with her.

She rolled her eyes, "Whatever. Catch." Kagami threw the ball at him and he immediately passed it back to her. It was a little bit clumsy, she could tell that he was still working on it, but it wasn't all that bad.

She passed the ball back to him and the two continued to pass it back and forth in silence. It was sort of odd, since she assumed that Hinata would continue to ask questions like he did yesterday. He looked concentrated, or deep in thought about something. It was weird, until...

"Why did you decide to come to Karasuno?"

Random, but valid question. Kagami passed the ball back towards him, "Uhm, I don't live that far from here, so it was the obvious choice. I guess you could say I'm lazy like that... it wasn't my first choice though to be honest..."

Hinata nodded understandingly. "Well, I wanted to come here since I saw the little giant play at nationals on tv!"

"I'm guessing it's the reason you started playing volleyball too?"

"Yeah! He was just so awesome!" He replied passionately. Some might say too passionately, seeing as he almost forgot to pass the ball. "Despite how small he was he could totally compete with the others! What about you? Why do you play volleyball?"

"My father plays it," she immediately replied without much thought as the ball bounced on her arms, "He's on the national team."
