"We lost the first set, but it's not the end of the world. Let's keep going!"

A reassuring and determined round of "yes!" echoed around the team after Yui Michimiya, their captain, tried her best to keep the spirits high. In all honesty she was starting to loose hope, even with her amazing first years. She just hoped that Daichi was having a better time at his inter high.

Kaede in the meantime moved past the second and third years, and towards Kagami, who was standing a little to the side from the others, drinking her water in silence. "Yoshikawa. Are you okay?"

The brunette closed her water bottle and nodded, "I'm fine."

Before Kaede could reply, the rest of the team had gathered around them, all crowding around their little prodigy. It was no secret that despite Kagami being awful with people, the second and third years on the team tended to coddle her a little. Because while being amazing at volleyball, she sometimes lacked common sense. It also didn't help that she was technically the youngest on the team too.

"Well, don't hold back if you have anything to say." Rinko Sudou, a second year middle blocker spoke up with a reassuring smile. Word among the second years was the she was going to be the captain once the third years retired and Kaede could see why. She had the same air as Michimiya around her.

Chizuru Sasaki, another third year wing spiker, nodded eagerly. She was the only third year around at the moment, Michimiya and Aihara were talking with their teacher. "Yeah! We know we're not nearly as good as the other team, so if you have any complains please let us know."

The rest of the team sweat dropped at that. Sasaki was too honest for their liking sometimes.

"Is that suppose to sound reassuring?" Manami Aoki, their second year setter, asked. She was originally going to be the starting setter, since knowing that Yoshikawa felt bad for taking her place, but the older reassured her that it was alright. At first Kagami didn't get it, but the rest of the second years explained to her that Aoki was just lazy and tried to work as little as possible.

"Maybe try a different approach, Sasaki." Mao Aihara added as she and Michimiya joined them again, "Fewer references to us being awful."
