Kaede waited nervously in the stands for Kagami to arrive. She tapped her fingers against he railing, watching as the boys warmed up for their match with very little interest. If the brunette didn't show up today, this was all a waste of time anyways.

Don't get her wrong she loved supporting her brother and his team, but the only thing she cared about right now was patching things up Kagami.

Something that might sound surprising is that Kaede had trouble making friends ever since elementary school. Most people thought that she was annoying, because she talked too much and was a bit of an airhead. Sure, she got along with people well enough, but it was never a genuine friendship, only a necessary acquaintanceship.

Highschool was no different, so Kaede opted to hang out with her brother and his friends for the first few weeks, but that wasn't a permanent solution. She couldn't be known as the girl who was clinging to her older brother all the time. Then she entered the volleyball club, and that's when she met Yoshikawa and the rest of the team.

"Hey..."

Kaede turned around and found Kagami walking towards her, dressed in casual clothes with a small bag on her shoulder. The blonde smiled brightly at the sight. "You came."

Kagami awkwardly scratched the back of her neck as she stepped closer to the blonde, "You asked..."

"I'm sorry-"

"I'm sorry-"

The two girls stopped and looked at each other, laughter escaping their mouths. After few more seconds they calmed down, and Kagami took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry for lashing out at you. I just-" She took a deep breath, "I had a bad day and I let it out in you. It's just everybody keeps telling me how good I am, how perfect my tosses are, and if it wasn't you who made mistakes, then it had to be me. I didn't want to believe that yesterday, so I yelled at you. "

Kaede shook her head, "It's okay. I'm sorry too. You probably felt like shit after seeing your old teammates again, and then I compared you to Kageyama, which was totally out of line..."

"It's fine," the setter replied, a sad smile on her face, "I'm actually starting to think your right. The two of us both have that same disregard for our teammates apparently..."
