"I can't believe the boys get to go to Tokyo for a training camp. What do we get? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I mean seriously, that's so unfair. We should be able to go somewhere too."
It seemed that after the Yoshikawa Kagami drama was resolved, the new thing everyone focused on was the Tokyo training camp the boy's team was able to go to over the summer. And the hardest to take the news was Kaede, who now decided to complain and talk about it every chance she got, like during lunch, and in between classes and of course on their way to the gym for practice.
It has gotten to the point, where, for the first time since they met, Majima and Yoshikawa agreed on something, and that was the fact that Kaede was being a huge drama queen.
"Maybe you should worry less about what the boys are doing and focus on your midterms," Majima commented, her voice laced with annoyance. Yoshikawa, who was sipping on some jelly, nodded along in agreement.
Kaede only crossed her arms and pouted, clearly offended by the assumption that her grades were not good. "My grades are fine believe it or not."
"You're right I don't believe it."
"Hey!" Kaede protested loudly, making the other two flinch, "I'm at least doing better than the idiot duo. My brother told me they have to pass the exams or else they don't get to go to Tokyo."
"There you go again, talking about Tokyo," Majima replied annoyed with a sigh.
Kaede dropped her pout and smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. "I just really want to go."
"We know."
Yoshikawa shook her head and sighed. The was the only one between the three girls who had been in the big city before, she didn't get the what the big fuss was all about even less. "Kaede, Tokyo is not that great once you've seen it. It's just a big city."
"It's not just about going to Tokyo. It's about having matches against powerhouse schools and doing training camp things," Kaede explained as if that justified her behaviour. "Like late training sessions and gossiping about boys and playing truth or dare."
"You've never been to a training camp before, have you?" The setter asked, making Kaede nod rapidly. "That explains so much..."
