"So, that's pretty much what the boys are doing." Kaede concluded as she gathered some volleyballs from the floor while the second and third years did serving drills on the court.

It's been around a week and half since Yoshikawa and Kageyama ran into Oikawa and around three days since the boys went to the training camp in Tokyo. Outside of that things haven't really changed for the girls, despite summer vacation the girls club had agreed to practice together every day for at least a few hours. It's just that without the boys around in the next gym over it's been quieter. Still, the first year trio was kept updated on everything since:

a) Kaede demanded her older brother to tell her everything that had happened on any given day.

b) Yoshikawa herself has been occasionally (every day) texting with Kageyama to give him tips and support on mastering the new falling set he had to learn for Hinata.

And c) Majima was keeping in contact which Yachi, who was basically anxiously rambling to her in text messages about the state of the team.

It was safe to say they were covered from all angles and perspectives with the on goings in Tokyo.

"Wow, sounds like they have it rough. I couldn't stand to do penalties all the time in the summer heat." Majima said as she picked up a few balls and put them in the ball cart.

Kaede leaned against the cart, stretching her arms, "But still the chance to play against five powerhouse is unmatched."

Yoshikawa nodded as she came to stand next to Kaede, "It's a great training opportunity. Better than picking up balls at least..."

Majima frowned at the two, "Aw, come on you guys. We don't have it bad here." She gestured to the court, where their upperclassmen were practicing their serves and receives with a minimal amount of enthusiasm. The third years in particular seemed to be distracted by something, barely managing to get their serves over the net.

"I feel bad for Michimiya-senpai. It feels like I haven't seen her smile at all during practice lately." Kaede spoke up sadly as she continued watching, completely forgetting about their task to pick up the stray balls.

"She's probably worried about the qualifier prelims in two weeks. You guys lost in the first round of the inter high after all..." Majima replied carefully, she knew that the inter high was a sensitive topic to her two teammates. As if on cue Kaede and Kagami's expressions dropped at the grim reminder of their first game as high school students, Kaede looked embarrassed, while Kagami looked more frustrated at the mention.
