"YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT! TO THINK THAT I WAS JEALOUS OF YOU FOR A BETTER PART OF MY JUNIOR HIGH CAREER!"
"THIS IS YOUR FAULT TOO! YOU DIDN'T PREPARE ME ENOUGH FOR THE LITERARY EXAM!"
"I THOUGHT YOU HAD AT LEAST SOME READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS!"
"WELL, YOU WERE WRONG!"
"They're yelling a lot." Yachi commented anxiously as she watched the two prodigies arguing on their way to volleyball practice. As a relatively new addition to the group of first years she wasn't quite used to Yoshikawa and Kageyama's bickering. The other first years however were watching the scene with various levels of amusement. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were quietly snickering behind their hands, while Hinata was smug that he wasn't being scolded (despite also failing). Kaede and Majima on the other hand were just sharing a knowing look between themselves.
"It's their default setting," Kaede spoke up, trying to soothe Yachi's concerns, while the two setters continued to argue.
Majima next to her was nodding feverishly, "I think it's their love language."
"No, that's obviously volleyball." Yamaguchi commented from the other side.
The group of first years continued their way towards the club rooms to change for practice, Yoshikawa and Kageyama continuing to bicker the whole way to the amusement of some, mainly Kaede and Majima, and not so much others, mainly Tsukishima, who has put on his headphones to block out the unnecessary noise from his peers.
"Whatever we'll just go to the training camp anyway," Kageyama said eventually as they came to a stop in front of the stairs to the club rooms.
"Don't you have to do make up exams?" Majima asked with furrowed eyebrows. At the reminder of the make up exams both Hinata and Kageyama visibly paled and froze. It seemed as if the two have forgotten about that little detail.
"W- We'll figure something out!" Hinata eventually managed to say, Kageyama next to him reluctantly nodded along. The girls all just shared a look, while Tsukishima and Yamaguchi continued on their way to the changing rooms.
Kaede shook her head and spoke up first, "You can't just bike all the way to Tokyo."
"Although that would be entertaining to see..." Majima added quietly, before straightening up, "If anything you could join the girls practice. We may not be going anywhere, but our music playlist is being curated by yours truly."
