Milk or yogurt drink was the big question on Kageyama's mind as he made his way to the vending machines. He didn't feel strongly on either option, although yesterday he had some milk, so maybe yogurt was the way to go...
"Kageyama!" The setter blinked and turned around, only to find Kaede and another blonde girl running up to him. He furrowed his eyebrows, Kaede was the last person he expected to see.
The two blondes stopped before him, slightly out of breath and their uniforms a little disheveled. "Have you seen Kagami around? I think she's avoiding us," Kaede said with a slightly worried expression.
Kageyama thought for a moment. He normally didn't see Yoshikawa around school, the two of them had different classes and routines, not to mention they were on questionable speaking terms. The last time he properly saw her and acknowledged her was at the match against Oikawa when she was in the stands.
"I haven't seen her," he replied after a few seconds, making Kaede and the other girl sigh.
"I thought as much," Kaede said, before both girls turned around to walk away again, "Thanks anyways, see you around."
The two girls ran off, leaving Kageyama alone once again. He watched as they went back into the building, before continuing his way to the vending machine near the court yard. He didn't dwell too much about the encounter since he didn't concern himself with whatever the girls were up to. Although, he had to admit he was slightly curious on why Yoshikawa wasn't talking to Kaede since the two seemed friendly whenever he saw them together.
He arrived at the vending machine and looked at the options he had. It looked like they were out of yogurt, so he picked some milk. He threw some change into the machine, chose his drink and happily picked it up once the machine dropped it.
As he stood back up, he saw some movement in the corner of his eye. Curiously he looked to see what it was and saw Yoshikawa sitting by the stairs to the main building with a book hiding her face, when she wasn't looking over it to check her surroundings.
Kageyama furrowed his eyebrows as he put the straw into his milk. He has never seen the brunette at this part of the school. Hinata had mentioned that the two of them haven't been meeting up at lunch since the inter high, but this was new.
