The weekend passed as quickly as it came and with it the boys returned from their training camp, but now more troubled than ever. It was evident that the team needed to change and no one was more determined to evolve than Hinata. He was done only doing what Kageyama wanted, he needed to be able to fight by himself.
So, the day after returning from the training camp he had a plan. The fight the previous night had made it very clear that Kageyama wouldn't do what he asked, so he just thought he could borrow another more accommodating prodigy setter to practice with for the time being. He was sure that Yoshikawa would be more than happy to practice with him and at the same time prove that she was better at something than Kageyama.
When the bell rang and signalled the end of the school day, Hinata quickly packed his things and rushed to the classroom of class 1-4. His face was still a little bruised and covered in bandages, but he wouldn't let that deter him as he walked into the room with a big smile. "Yoshikawa-san! I need your help- huh..?"
The room was nearly empty, a few students were still packing up or on class cleaning duty, among them were Tsukishima and Yamaguchi absorbed in their own conversations as they got ready to head home. Hinata looked around in confusion, but couldn't find the girl he was looking for, which was strange because he assumed with the gyms being inspected that she wouldn't have to hurry to be somewhere. He walked up to his two teammates with a confused expression, "Uh, where is Yoshikawa?"
Tsukishima looked down at the small boy, clearly annoyed at being interrupted in his conversation. "She left five minutes ago, we don't know where she went."
"But we do know with whom she went." Yamaguchi spoke up with a small amused smile. "You won't believe it."

"You know, I was really surprised when you asked me to get ice cream with you."
Never in a million years did Kagami Yoshikawa expect to be walking side by side with her self proclaimed arch enemy Tobio Kageyama eating ice cream, but here she was. The weather was nice and sunny and the strawberry ice cream in her hands was delicious, and yet the situation felt surreal to her. Just two days ago she began entertaining the silly thought of maybe one day being on good terms and being a couple with Kageyama and then out of the blue the next time they saw each other he awkwardly asked her if she wanted to hang out with him after school.
