Chapter 13
The next morning Indriya woke up in what seemed like the middle of the night, she had this sudden pang of pain in her lower back. Her nightmares had gotten worse by the day and she So she awoke at four in the morning, took a bath and sat on her balcony, her head was pounding in a dull ache and her lower back hurt even more.
After taking a bath, she knocked on Mythri's door, and surprisingly the healer was up and was brushing her teeth when Indriya asked her for some ginger tea. So Mythri lazily made her ginger and cumin seed tea and mixed a powder in it that was said to ease her body cramps.
Indriya decided not to wake Agni or Chag up as it was of no use, anyways the Warrior Prince would be at her door in another half hour so she had to think of a good justification for him to excuse her from training.
'Would he excuse me though?' She thought, heaving a sigh and massaging her aching back slowly. 'Agni is not a sadist.' she told herself.
As if in answer, there was a knock at the door, he knocked twice and entered the room. Agni was still in his red tank top and tracks.
"How come you woke up so early today?" He asked. "And you already took a bath?"
'Fair enough.'
Indriya looked up at him and blinked, he was looking at her shorts and a long t-shirt. Her loose messy braid cascaded its way up to the small of her back, a few strands dancing to the breeze.
"I am not feeling very well today, Agni." She said quietly, but not weakly.
"Why?" He frowned and wore a disapproving expression.
"I said I am not feeling well, so I cannot train today." She pressed on the words 'not feeling well a little hard.
"Fine, you can take off for today, but let's visit Mythri once, shall we?" He looked at the way she clutched her stomach. "What exactly is the problem, Princess?"
"My...uh..my stomach is aching and my head is pounding." She pursed her legs.
Agni knitted his eyebrows slightly and said, "Let's go, Princess."
"Agni that won't be necessary, this happens very frequently to me, I am used to it." She stammered slightly, but Agni already held her wrist to help her to her feet.
She withdrew her hand and shot him a glare. "I don't need your help, Agni. I can stand up by myself." The words came out more harshly than she wanted to. And she immediately yanked her hand from his. He looked at her and lowered his eyebrows and puckered his lips as though he was stopping himself from saying some words that she didn't want to hear from him but all he said was.
"Of course you can, my Queen! Let's go shall we."
They knocked on the healer's door twice, and to their surprise and, her inconvenience, Chag was the one to open the door right in the morning.

Mythri glanced at the Princess who now looked like she was about to bite anyone's head off. But she realised the Princess was pleading to Mythri to make an excuse so she could send the two Princes away from the room. But Mythri had to have her part of the fun.
