"Where have you been?"

I barely made it into my room before I bumped into Felicity. She was standing in the middle of the room with her arms crossed, a deep frown on her face. Just when I made it inside, she closed the door behind me. "I was worried sick, Jamie."

I cocked my head to the side, my surprised expression turning into a pout. "Aw, you were worried about little old me?"

The blonde rolled her eyes, playfully slapping me on my shoulder. I flinched.

"What?" Felicity asked, her deep frown returning.

I took a seat on my bed and sighed before I told her what happened. About the gym and then the chase, leaving out the part where I made out with our professor. My light and confused state started to morph back into fear and I felt my heartbeat speed up.

"Oh, my Godgod." She covered her mouth with her hand, sitting on the bed beside me. "I am never leaving you alone. Ever again."

I chuckled humorlessly, unable to get my nerves to settle

"How did you get away?"

My face fell and I shifted my gaze to the floor, quickly trying to come up with an excuse. Or, maybe I could just tell her part of the truth?

"Well I saw that the light was on in one of the offices from all the professors where I ended up, and I...walked in."

Felicity pulled up a brow, urging me to go on. Though the girl could be a little naive at times, I would never doubt her intuition. She could read me like a book and it would've been stupid for me to ignore that.

"It was Mr. Davis' office." I quickly continued before Felicity could react.

I nearly crossed my fingers behind my back as I waited for her response. Would it maybe have been wiser to just...tell her what happened? Then again, it was probably never going to happen again. The thought seemed to make me feel surprisingly bad, and I had to do my best not to look absolutely defeated.

"Hmm." Felicity didn't seem to believe that I had told her the full story, and the way she studied me made me think that she had already figured out what was going on. My suspicion was confirmed when she spoke again. "I know I've said this before, but please be careful."

"Mr. Davis and I kissed," I blurted out, folding my hands together in my lap and biting my lower lip. This conversation wasn't going how I wanted, and the words were just spilling out.

"You did not. Jamie!"

I had expected her to scold me, but I still didn't like it.

"I couldn't help it." I stood from the bed and pulled the elastic from my hair, aggressively pushing my leggings down my legs.

Felicity scoffed, crossing her arms. "Yes, your tongue accidentally made its way down his throat."

I gave up on trying to pull my sports bra over my head, the tight fabric getting stuck toagainst my still sweaty skin. Instead, I let myself fall back in Penny's desk chair, running a hand over my face.

"It won't happen again anyway." I sighed.

Felicity cocked her head to the side. She let out a deep sigh, shaking her head. When she looked up, she was smirking. "But like, how was it?"

I raised a brow, a grin playing on my lips as I thought back to that amazing kiss. Which it definitely was. Mr. Davis really knew what buttons to push and he didn't even touch me as much as I wanted to. The soft strokes of his tongue had been enough to make me weak in the knees.
