Winter- A... vision? When did this happen?

Cole- The day of the bombings. When we were asleep. It was like I was floating in a world of darkness.

James- What was the vision of?

Cole- This thing. It called itself a core. Called me the 'formation'. Said I could comprehend it...

He gazes off and you snap your fingers.

Cole- Right, right... I think it was like... the embodiment of a black hole. The formless avatar which controls the centre of the galaxy.

James- The black hole manifested itself to you in a dream?

Cole- I... my head is all a jumble.

James- It's okay. Just breathe for a moment. Tell us what happened as you stepped away from the podium.

He nods and hums.

Cole- It was the core again. It's been watching things. Learning about the world. It wants me to make contact with it. So it can 'gain form'.

Winter- Gain form? How does it plan on doing that?

Cole- Apparently hitching a ride with my mind, from what I've gathered.

James- So this manifestation wants you to connect with it, likely by another one of these dreams or visions.

Cole- It seems that's the case.

James- And you're sure this has been the second time? It hasn't happened any other time?

Cole- I swear, it never happened before the bombings and today.

James- Hm. Alright. There's clearly proof of your visions being real, since your body displayed strange changes.

Cole- What happened to my body? Winter, you said something about my eye.

Winter- Your eye was pure black. Like as dark as the void.

Cole- ... the drone.

James- Hm?

Cole- The drone... I checked the contents aboard it. You had a remote unit placed on it.

James- that's right, I did.

Cole- I need the Sphere.

Winter- It's in the new location.

Cole- Then I need to go there.

Winter- But... our holiday...

Looking at him, you're concerned at seeing his distant gaze.

Winter- Cole.

Placing your hand on his cheek, he shivers.

Winter- Cole, whatever this thing is asking you to do. It can wait. Please don't ruin what little time you and I have to rest.

His gaze turns to you, and he nods and takes your hand gently.

Cole- You're right. The core can wait. I'm sorry. I feel like so much is happening all at once. I keep ruining our days off.

Winter- Don't blame yourself for a second. None of this is your fault. We've all been caught up in this. But Cole, we've won. We've won. The time to fight is over. Peace has returned. We can go home now.

You lean in and rest your forehead against his.

Cole- I'd be dead without you, Winter. I love you.

Winter- And I wouldn't know how to live without you. I love you too, Cole.
