They swam around the entire night, laughing and playing with the fish around. For the first time in a while, Dream has felt normal

It felt as if they no longer cared he was the Beacon, and they just see him as a regular merman, though his size is what reminds him, but he stopped caring

The sun was coming, and the mermen quickly jumped out, landing face first and spitting sand and they had towels ready, drying their bodies as they were back to humans

Dream waited as George showed the clear bag. Dream jumped and George caught him with the water bag

They made it towards Karl's house. A phone rang as George answered, for it was his. "Hello?" he asks, and his mother's voice sounded worried

"Mom, is everything ok?" he asks, but froze when she answered, "Your father is here. Can you come home?"

George just froze. He answered a yes, but he was nervous. One, because he was seen by his father in his merman form, and two, well, what if he mentions about it?

"I need to go home," George said as Dream whimpered. "Can I come with you?" Dream presses his face on the clear bag

His gaze followed George's eyes as the human drew closer. He held the bag and smiled, "You must be silent at all times."

Dream nodded as George left, saying goodbye to Sapnap and Karl. It wasn't a long walk, but he made it longer, walking slowly as he noticed the sky was becoming cloudy

He ran home, and noticed no one was here. George crept up to his room and opened the clear bag, letting Dream out and into the tank

"My mom cleaned it yesterday, and I see she added a few coral props," he giggled as Dream smiled, knowing he could use these to his advantage

"George?" His mom's voice called. He sighed as he walked down. He noticed his father taking off his hat and shifting nervously

"Hey, George," he said. He noticed George had no anger expression. The brunette walked towards the couch as his father was sweating nervously

"Nice to see you, Rowan," George answered in a monotone voice, making his father a whole lot more nervous

Rowan: For your birthday...

George: You didn't show up

Rowan: I know, but I wanted to tell you something!

George: Hmm

Rowan: I want to gift you a mythical creature

George: *sarcastically* Oh yeah! Why not getting me a mermaid?! How about a sea dragon?! They do not exist!!

Rowan: It was on the news! I found a merman! Not mermaid!

George: And?

Rowan: Your favorite color is blue, right?

George: *sarcastically* Wow! Something of me you remember
