What the hell

I sat up with a jerk, panting and sweating as if I had just run a marathon.

T-the-
The dreams are back?

Please no, please tell me that that was a single performance

I pulled my hair, looking at the alarm clock on the night stand next to the bed. It showed 04:16 am.

"Haru?" A hoarse voice sounded behind me and it made me flinch.

"Hey, are you okay?" He turned on the lamp on the night stand and rubbed his eyes.

"Y-yeah." I said, turning to meet his sleepy face, "I'm okay, just a nightmare." I shrugged and forced a smile, "Go to sleep again."

"You're sweating?" He said concerned, swiping his thumb across my forehead.

I moved away, "Jimin, I'm fine. Let's just sleep." I said and bent over him to turn off the lamp again.

He was too tired to fight it and just fell back and dozed off into a good night's sleep again, his arms wrapping around me.

"Just a nightmare." I repeated lowly to myself as I closed my eyes again.

It was just a nightmare...

I went to the kitchen after getting dressed and packing my bag. Today I put my hair in a high ponytail, in case Taehyung would drive me again and roll down the windows as he did yesterday... It messed my hair up a whole lot.

Jin and Jungkook was in the kitchen, backs turned to me, clearly working on something. I supposed breakfast.

Jin turned around with his hands full of washed salad and noticed me.

"Good morning Haru." He smiled and plumped the salad onto a cutting board and started cutting it to smaller pieces.

Jungkook turned his head but I avoided eye contact.

"Morning." I said and went to the fridge.

Even though I didn't want breakfast, I opened the fridge. Mostly to shield myself from looking at Jungkook. As I struggled to forget the nightmare last night, his presence reminded me again.

I closed the fridge a bit too hard, rattling the bottles and cartons inside.

"Jin, would you mind driving me to school today?" I got next to him and asked him with big eyes.

"I'm sorry Haru, but I have somewhere to be myself in," He stopped to look at his watch, "20 minutes."

I perked my eyebrow at him and switched from looking at the not nearly done breakfast in his hands and back to him.

"I'm just quickly helping Jungkookie make breakfast."

His head spun around to look at Jungkook, whose back was still turned against us, then eagerly back to me, as if he had just got an idea.

"But Jungkook's breakfast can wait, he can drive you." He motioned to Jungkook who turned around.

As my eyes met Jungkook's, I shook my head immediately, "You know what, I'll just take the bus."
