"We should go, Mr. Shue needs our help to win back Ms. Pillsbury," Artie says rolling past the group at their lockers.

They left and helped him sing to her. It seemed to help but looked like it was going to be slow but they were working on it. This made Jake think about Kara and how he lied to her on Valentine's. It made Kara think about her parents back home, they always worked together whatever it was and they loved each other through everything.

She missed them, she misses them every day but she has a new family, The Danvers, and she was happy to have an amazing family. But she will always wonder why her mother didn't climb in that pod with her and go to Earth with her.

As they walked away, Lena caught up to Ryder and walked next to him.

"Hey, I know this is a little late but I got you this. You know for Valentine's" She smiles, she always loved her heritage from her mother and wanted to pass it down even to someone she sees more as a friend. She hands him a small box.

"What's this?" He asks opening to see a 3-piece Claddagh ring but this one only had one of them.

"It's a Claddagh ring, put it on." She took it out and put it on his right hand, but she hesitated for a moment if she should place it inward or outward. Before she could slide it on his finger, he took it and slid it on himself.

"This is amazing! What do the hands represent?" He asked looking at the hands seeming to hold something but there was nothing but empty space.

"It means," She stalled for a moment to not reveal the true meaning which was that it meant friendship, "It means that half of someone." She lied, not even understanding what she just told him.

"Great!" He looked at his ring again before interlocking their fingers as they walked away from Emma Pillsbury's sister's house and went home.

Lena noticed that while he doesn't know how to wear the ring he put it on pointing out. It somehow made her feel relieved but that quickly went away from the realization that he might figure out everything she told him was a lie.

The Next Day After School

"Thank you for coming here, I need to come clean. Everything I did for you last week was all Ryder, he planned it for Lena and we just went along with it."

"That's why we did everything together."

"Look, I didn't mean to lie. It's just that all this trust and monogamy. It's new for me. I'm into it. I just, I got nervous. I was trying to impress you." He confessed.

"So, I came up with this on my own." He pointed to the ceramic-making setup.

"This is not what I think it is," Kara told him.

"But yes it is. Come here, sit down. I am singing your favorite song from your favorite romantic movie." He pulled her to the seat.

"Funny Face?" She asked him, smiling.

"Second favorite romantic movie?" He said. They sat down and he began singing "Can't Help Falling in Love" from "Blue Hawaii".

"Wise men say only fools rush in but I can't help falling in love with you. Shall I stay? Would it be a sin, if I can't help falling in love with you?" Jake sang to her, she let the words sink in. She closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them, she saw that Lena had taken his spot and continued the song.

"Like a river flows, surely to the sea. Darling, so it goes. Some things are meant to be. Take my hand. Take my whole life too. For I can't help falling in love with you." Kara rested her head on Lena's and closed her eyes. Listening to her sweet voice sing to her. But she felt out of place, she felt as if she was watching herself do this romantic thing with Jake from afar.

She saw herself, watching as it went back and forth between Jake and Lena. Jake continued to sing to her as she felt Lena come close to her on the floor, inches away from her. She placed a hand on her jawline and slightly rubbed it.

Kara's eyes dropped to her lips as they got closer and closer until they stopped. On her's.

Lena kissed her softly, having Kara take in every part of her lips. Kara couldn't help the emotions she had and she longed for the kiss to last. But Lena pulled away smiling, she let go of her head. Disappearing into nothing.

Kara let her head hit the table behind her as she watched herself continue to listen to Jake sing.

"For I can't help falling in love with you. For I can't help falling in love with you." He finished the song and moved his head to kiss Kara but she pulled away.

"Jake, stop. I'm sorry." She got up and away from him. "I lied about Valentine's Day, too. I knew it was Ryder, but I didn't care because it was so sweet that you tried." Jake smiled and softly chuckled.

"Jake, I have been lying to you. About so many things. I can't keep doing this to you." She paused and looked into his eyes. She didn't know how she felt looking at him.

"I almost kissed someone." She told him.

"But you didn't. Because you would never do that?" He said, getting slightly angry and confused.

"No. I didn't kiss them because," she looked down at her hands covered in clay. "I didn't kiss them not because I knew it was wrong or that I knew it would hurt you or that I didn't want to but because they stopped me, each time." She looked back at him.

"Wh-What do you mean each time? How could you?" He nearly yelled standing up.

"I couldn't stop myself, something happened and I couldn't control myself." She looked at him.

"What happened? What the hell could've happened that caused you to nearly cheat on me? To want to cheat on me?"

"I wish I could tell you, but I can't. I just can't."

"You should be able to tell me anything, I'm here for you but if you want to throw it all away for someone else that's when I don't think I can stay here." His voice softened.

"Jake, you have to trust me."

"Trust you? I don't know if I can now, you knew who I was before and I want to be with you so I promised you that I would never do that. I can't–won't–hurt you that way but you are going to do it to me?"

"I'm sorry," Kara took a step forward. Jake retreated back.

"Who was it?"

"I can't tell you. It's not their fault, it's mine. I'm sorry."

"I just- I-" Jake couldn't believe what he just heard, he didn't think Kara was capable of that kind of betrayal. He didn't know how to talk to her anymore. So he shook his head and left.

"No, Jake. Please, wait. Don't leave." Kara begged him.

The door slammed leaving Kara to stand there knowing she was going to lose Jake. She couldn't believe that she allowed herself to like someone else. She broke down crying, she tried to hide her face in her hands but they were still covered in clay so she tried to not let her hands touch her face.

Friday

"It's time to announce the winner," Mr. Shue said.

"And those of you who will star in my new film, 'Hollywood Hootenanny'," Artie said.

"Yes, and the winner is....All of you." Mr. Shue announced.

They all yelled and questioned him for not picking a winner.

"I realized that for my film to be great I needed more people so you will all be in the movie." There were cheers of approval from everyone except Kara and Jake who sat far apart from each other.

Mr. Shue and Finn walked out and two minutes later they returned but it looked like he was going to cry.

"Okay, everyone we are going to practice 'Footloose' in the auditorium, so head over there." He said quickly before leaving to The Gods know where. Everyone talked to Artie about their roles on their way to perform.

They sang and danced while having fun, Lena smiled at Kara and danced past her with Blaine as Kara was with Ryder. Jake caught the little exchange and stumbled a little but continued with the song.
