Maybe Looking to The Past Can Give You The Closure You Need in the Present

"Lena," She called out before she passed out, falling. Lena barely caught her, falling to the ground herself. She knew something was wrong, all she could do was hold her.

She looked over at the meteor in its crater in the middle of the ground, she saw the smoke lifting from it. The floor had cracks leading away from it for a few feet. Lena looked up at the horrified looks from her friends around the room, they all stood there stunned. No one could understand what they just saw. Jake's eyes went back and forth between Kara lying in Lena's arms and the meteor now at his feet. He was the first to start looking around at everyone else around the room.

He saw their terrified faces, all of them frozen in fear about the rock and Kara passed out on the ground.

"Help her, please." Lena choked out, looking up at the group of students around her. They all stood around beginning to look at each other, not doing anything. "What's wrong with you guys? I need help!" She yelled, Kara was hurt and there was nothing she could really do. She looked down at Kara's limp body, she felt the weight of her in her hands.

She knew Kara's life was literally in her hands, she had to save her. She couldn't lose her, not when she hadn't told her how she felt.

Jake finally came forward, he rushed down to pick Kara off Lena. He got her up into his arms, he looked at her, confused as to why she fainted again. Lena stood up quickly, scanning her body to see any scratches or injuries; once she knew she was okay, she started ordering people around.

"Jake, take her to the nurse's office and call Alex. She needs to get here now. Ryder, Sam, and Blaine, figure out a way to safely get that meteorite out of here. Everyone else, just-just clean up around here." Lena finished, she went to follow Jake out and figure out her next course of action.

"Lena, wait!" Blaine shouted after her, making her stop and turn around. "Where do we put it? It's not like a piece of furniture." He joked, trying to make the situation a little lighter.

"Put it in my car, here's my keys. I'll deal with it." She threw his keys to him and then ran out the door to Kara.

Jake reached the nurse's office, busting in without an explanation and setting her down as gently as he could in the bed just inside. Lena burst in the door next, and she saw Jake standing over her just watching her.

"Jake, call Alex. Now!" She ordered, she had to get him out so she could check on Kara. To see how this was affecting her; the green came out in her veins, still coursing through her. Lena knew that she should be feeling better now that she was away from it but something was wrong.

Jake called Alex a few times and she didn't answer, he ran back in pacing worriedly.

"She won't answer, I-I don't know what's going on." He says, panicked.

"Hang on, let me try. Just explain to the nurse that Kara needs this bed, okay?" She didn't let him answer and turned back to Kara. "It's going to be okay, I'll fix this. Don't worry." She squeezed Kara's hand before she pulled out her phone and dialed Alex. On the third ring, she picked up.

"Alex? Thank god you answered, it's Kara. You need to come down to school."

"Lena? What's wrong? Is she okay?" Alex asked, worried and scared for her sister.

"I'm not sure, a meteor came crashing through and landed in front of her and she fainted. It was green, and now her veins are green. Just like with the red kryptonite. Something's wrong. When can you get here?" Lena explained.

"I-I can't, I'm in Midvale and there's no flights out, the weather is horrible here. I can be there in a few days, the second it clears, I'm there. I'll try to get a hold of Clark, maybe he can help. But you should take her home, she's living at Aunt Millie's house right now and she'll take care of her but she doesn't know about her...powers." Alex ran through, her voice going shaky. She wanted to be there but there was no way to get there soon.
