Eli was beyond nervous, he often thought he wasn't good enough for his best friend, Y/N. They had good looks, beautiful e/c eyes and flowy h/c hair. Whenever they walked by he collapsed into the nearest wall (mood). One of Y/N's friends, Alex, had told him the best way to confess his love.
Eli POV
'Y/N told me they were about to arrive, hopeful what Alex says works.' I think to myself, I open the door to a soft knock. "Hey Els!" They smile. "Hey Y/N, I have flowers!" I hand them a bouquet of flowers. "Thanks Eli, I thought this was just a VoicePlay discussion not a flower party," they smile. "I love you!" I blurt. "I love you too Els," they smile, confused. "No, more than a friend," I feel the rush of heat go to my face. "I know Els, you're not as slick as you think you are," "I a- wait what?" I ask, confused. "You're not that subtle, you literally fawn over me. I heard theres a new restaurant near by, let's go!" They drag me outside. 'Good job Eli!' I think to myself.
They will always be more than friends.
