"You and me? It's a forever kind of thing."
"Hmmm. I wonder what I should wear today." I looked around the closet.
My eyes landed at a floral white dress and I beamed in happiness. I quickly took it out of the closet, putting it on and looked at the mirror.
"Okay, this looks good. Now let's put on lipstick, and sunscreen. Then, I can make my way to go the park!" I smiled.
15 minutes later, I was done getting ready and put on my flat shoes. I looked at my watch and it stated that it is 4.30pm. "Okay, I still have time. Let's go!" I mumbled.
As I headed my way towards the park, my mind began to wander around and think of how I should tell my answer to Jeremy.
"I never done this before. This will be my first time. Why is this so nerve wrecking? I am so nervous!" I whispered.
I arrived at the park 20 minutes later. I looked around to see if Jeremy was already here but there isn't any sight of him. I walked towards a bench nearby the park entrance and sat down. I looked around the park, feeling amazed of the scenery of the park. The park was so beautiful and it felt surreal.
It was surrounded with lots of trees and flowers. Cherry blossoms are everywhere. It was pretty and it is in pink. I felt calm and my heart fluttered when I looked at this perfect scenery. I smiled brightly, reaching my phone to capture this moment.
"It is so breath taking! No wonder why spring is my favourite season. I hope I can bloom just like these beautiful flowers. I can do this. I will achieve my goals soon." I said to myself. I was mesmerized with the scenery and started to daydream.
All of a sudden, I heard a voice behind me and it said, "Yeah I hope you do too. You are as beautiful as these cherry blossoms." I turned around and saw Jeremy.
"Oh, it's you. You actually scared me for a second." I glared at him.
He chuckled for a few seconds, making his way to sit next to me. He grinned at me, then clearing his throat, "So... hi Alannah. We meet again for the second time today. You looked cute before with the messy bun." I rolled my eyes, trying to hide my embarrassment, "Really? I don't remember meeting you today." He chuckled and pat my back, "Oh, so you are trying to forget what just happen before?" Then he winced, acting like his back was hurting, "Ouch, my poor back. I wonder if I should go the hospital after this."
I hit his back and scoffed, "Huh? I think your back is just fine! I am not that heavy!"
He laughed, ruffling my hair, "Yes of course. I am just kidding. Look how cute you are when you are mad."
I huffed, avoiding his gaze. He then continued his sentence, "So, Alannah... What did you want to tell me today?"
I glanced at him quickly and took a deep breath. I continued making an eye contact with him, "So, the reason why I want to meet up with you today is because I want to tell you my answer." I stopped for a second, and continued, "The answer to your confession." I looked at Jeremy's face carefully. He blushed instantly as I mentioned the word confession. I giggled after seeing his reaction. He furrowed his eyebrows, stuttering, "W-why are you giggling for?"
I shook my head, "Oh nothing. You looked cute when you blush." Jeremy's face went redder than before, "S-sto-p teasing me, Alannah. I'm going to go home if you keep teasing me." He pouted, about to stand up. I grabbed his hand, trying to stop him from leaving.
"Okay. Jeremy! I am sorry. I just say what comes through my mind spontaneously. You know how I usually act, right. I am so sorry if I hurt your feelings." I said to him. I paused for a second, looking at his reaction. Okay. Still pouting. Not a good sign.
I held his hand, clearing my throat, "Jeremy Fischer, I like you too. Yes, I would like to be your girlfriend. We are dating starting from today, right?" I patted his back, cooed, "So, stop sulking, my dear boyfriend."
Jeremy looked at me for a few seconds. It was an awkward silence. A part of me was nervous and I had a thought, "What if he was joking all this time? Maybe it was some kind of prank. Jeremy is known for being a prankster." I was about to say something to break the silence, "J-Jer"
However, I was interrupted with a sudden hug from Jeremy. I was a bit shocked, trying to ask him, "H- hey, wh-what ar-" He interrupted me once again, whispering, "Yes, we are dating starting from today and I love you, my dear girlfriend."
