Alex smiled picking a few things into a little brown basket before closing it and walking over to y/n 's house she answered and smiled
"Hey Alex what's up?" She asked and her dog came up from behind her growling and she swatted him away
"It's just Alex go sit down d/n" she smiled sheepishly and Alex blushed slightly thinking of the advice Kong and bones gave him earlier.
Just be calm and ask her...he thought before taking a deep breath "will you be my valentine?" He asked sheepishly and y/n smiled
"Of course" she said giving him a closed eyes smile. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and smiled showing her the brown basket.
"Wanna have a picnic?" He asked and y/n smiled "sure" the two of them walked together to a small park and sat underneath a tree
They spread the blanket and sat in it. Y/n looked at him and smiled
"Ok so I brought sandwiches" he said laughing awkwardly "i- uh tried to cook but it didn't come out right and I also brought cookies but I made thoes myself" he said proudly
Y/n giggled "well a sandwich is great and so is home made cookies I love it thank you Alex"
Alex smiled from the complement and they started talking
Alex and y/n new each other for about two years now. They met at ash's bar her applying for a job as a server there.
They finished the picnic and decided to go for a walk and Alex impulsively grabbed her hand making both of them blush.
She didn't let go or pull away and continued walking together the sub was setting and it was starting to get colder.
Alex took of his jacket and handed it to her "here stay warm" he said smiling
Y/n grabbed it but tilted her head "what about you?" He shook his head slightly
"I'll be fine" she nodded "thank you" and shrugged in his jacket feeling it's warmth.
The two of them continued to walk and y/n looked at him as they stopped at a bridge "can I ask you a question?" He asked.
And y/n nodded "of course" "will you be my girlfriend?" She blushed slightly and nodded pulling him into a hug "I would love love love too"
