(Third POV)

The young twins say goodbye to Kokoro as Fuyumi thanks her for watching her niece and nephew. Kokoro waves it off as nothing, commenting on how well-behaved the children were.

The twins and their aunt climb into Fuyumi's car and drive off. Fuyumi silently hopes they won't get pulled over, since she doesn't have any booster seats in her car for the kids to sit on. She's technically breaking the law, but she doesn't have much of a choice.

She doubts the cops would take that as an excuse.

The drive is mostly silent, the kids are about to fall asleep. Fuyumi glances at the twins for a split second before returning her eyes to the road. She smiles at how the kids are half asleep, eyelids drooping and their heads starting to lower to use the other twin as a pillow.

It would've been the perfect family ride.

But of course, trouble always seems to follow the Bakugo family.

A sudden heatwave alerts Fuyumi that something is wrong. She peaks at the twins through the rearview mirror. She nearly screams when she sees Aiko's hands lighting on fire.

Forgetting her turn signals, she immediately pulls into the nearest parking lot. She rushes to open the car doors and grab her niece. At this time, the twins become alert to what's happening and they begin screaming in fear.

"No, no, don't scream. It's alright," Fuyumi reassures, placing Aiko on the asphalt ground, "I'm pretty sure Aiko just got her quirk."

It's difficult for the twins to hear Fuyumi over the sound of their own screams, but they do. They slowly calm down. Their fear gradually becomes excitement as they begin to admire the flames.

Fuyumi calmed herself down, still a little in shock. No one is exactly prepared for their young niece to spontaneously catch fire in the back of a car.

Once the group is calm, they're about to leave. But, yet again, something always happens.

Fuyumi swears someone must be controlling the events when a car suddenly pulls up next to the group. The twins, at Fuyumi's direction, hide behind their aunt. Aiko's hands are no longer engulfed in flames, so she clutches the hem of Fuyumi's shirt with one hand while holding her brother with the other. Hiro does the same, holding his sister tightly.

The tinted window of the passenger seat rolls down, revealing a very familiar face.

"MOM!!"

The twins run to the car, trying to reach for their mother through the window. (y/n) responds by opening the door and scooping the kids into a hug.

"Aiko, Hiro," (y/n) says, tears flowing from her eyes, "I missed you both so much."

"We missed you too," Hiro says.

"I got my quirk, mom," Aiko says excitedly, igniting her hands on fire as though she had a hundred times before.

(Y/n) stares in shock and amazement. Admittedly, she's a little disappointed. She wanted to be there when her children first got their quirks, but she's still so proud.

"That's amazing honey, I'm sorry I missed it."

"No, you're not," Fuyumi replies, a giant sweat drop appearing out of thin air.

"Fuyumi? What happened?" (y/n) asks. Fuyumi quickly recounts the events that occurred only moments ago. (y/n) also sweatdropped upon hearing the story.

Poor Fuyumi.

"Well, thanks for taking care of them... what are you guys doing out so late anyway?" (y/n) asks.

"Yeah, about that..." Fuyumi chuckles nervously. She doesn't have to explain anything though, because Aiko beats her to it.

"We snuck out of UA to find you and dad."

...

"What?"

"So," Hiro begins, "Dad went looking for you and we stayed at UA. But they kept treating us like we're two. We wanted to find you and Dad so we snuck out of UA. Then we got lost and Aiko started crying so we called uncle Dabi. He told us to go to a Mcdonald's where we met miss Kokoro who gave us ice cream and let us wait until Aunt Fuyumi came to get us. Then Aiko got her quirk while we were in the car."

...

"You mean to tell me that two four-year-olds were able to get past UA security, which is the most advanced in the country, and the heroes that guard that place, without quirks?"

"YEP!"

(y/n) blinks, and then sighs. She's both proud and terrified of her children.

"Can I recruit them?"

"No, they're four."

The twins and Fuyumi turn towards the car to see a black-haired man with red eyes. They don't recognize him, but since (y/n) seems to be on decent terms with the man they don't fear him.

"Who are you?" Fuyumi asks.

The man doesn't respond. Instead, he turns towards the warehouse in the center of the lot.

"They're here."

The others in the group turn to the warehouse. The twins and Fuyumi don't see anything, but they weren't trained the same way as Kirishima and (y/n).

"I guess we should get going. We don't want to keep them waiting," (y/n) replies. She suddenly seems to morph from a loving mother to a powerful hero.

She stands straighter and holds her head higher. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair is tied back, and had she been wearing a crown you'd mistake her for a queen.

She and Kirishima walk towards the warehouse. Aiko, Hiro, and Fuyumi follow at a bit of a distance, but (y/n) makes no move to stop them.

"We aren't doing anything dangerous so they'll be fine," she reasons.

Kirishima opens the large garage door.

"Ladies first and children," he says, allowing the others to go first. The group enters the surprisingly clean and organized warehouse.

Once they stand in the center of the space, three figures drop in from the skylight. They're nothing more than shadows, but (y/n) recognizes the one in front immediately.

"Katsuki."
