(your POV)
I thought I had disguised myself well, but I guess I was wrong. Kirishima discovered my identity on my first day here. Even so, I won't abandon my mission.
Now, we sit in a private room at a circular table. I sit opposite the black-haired man, keeping eye contact with him. He returns the gesture.
We're awaiting someone, though he hasn't told me who.
Finally, I hear the door open. I forfeit our little staring contest to observe the newcomer.
It's Mei Hatsume?
Hatsume sits near Kirishima and places a circular device in the center of the table. I recognize it as a holographic projector, similar to the ones used by UA. The design is a little different and the color scheme is red and black, but it's still easily the same device.
"Well then, let's begin," Kirishima announces. Hatsume taps the machine she brought, causing a hologram to appear.
I examine the box-shaped object shown, wondering what this meeting is about.
"To start with, this is one of our explosive devices. Three of them were stolen, along with a few other devices. I take it you can guess who the thieves were," Kirishima explains.
It's obviously the league of villains. I recognize the inscription as the same one from the crime scene. I assume that it came from the explosive. They probably used it to erase the evidence.
Kirishima, seeing that I understand, continues. Hatsume clicks the button again, revealing a new image.
"These are the weapons stolen from our warehouse."
He then goes on to explain all the details of the Maromma Yakuza's involvement. During the conversation, I notice that we often switch between calling the organization a mafia and a yakuza.
Oh well.
The point is simple: even though the Maromma yakuza is technically a criminal organization, they're also victims in this situation. Kirishima refused to help the league so they took what they wanted by force.
With this information, I can consider Kirishima an ally in this situation. It's logical after all. We both have the same goal: find and capture the league. Some conditions need to be made, of course, but we can sort those out quickly.
"So, do we have a deal?" Kirishima finally asks, finishing his proposal.
"Not quite, I would like to add some conditions," I explain. Kirishima cocks his eyebrow questioningly.
"1. No killing, including the members of the league. We'll capture them and hand them over to the police, nothing else.
2. We cannot inform many members of your Yakuza of this mission, or my identity. This must stay between us and a small group of your most trusted men.
3. We can't do this alone, I know you can see that. We need more allies."
Kirishima sighs, though he doesn't seem too disappointed in my terms.
"Consider the first two done, let's discuss the third. Who would we reach out to?"
"I believe the answer is simple," I state, "the league is powerful, I was called here for that very reason. Therefore, we need firepower. And I say that somewhat literally."
"So, we'll be recruiting them. I assume I can consider my secret safe with you. Hatsume and I don't want our careers exposed to the world after all."
"I believe we have a deal. Can you contact Deku and Shoto?"
"Easy, you should probably go find your husband, it shouldn't take long," Kirishima says. I'm confused at his wording, which Hatsume seems to notice.
"Did you know that Bakugo was in Japan?"
...
(Bakugo POV)
I've searched the entire city, three times. I've questioned every civilian I could, any heroes available, and even the villains I took down.
No one knows where (y/n) is.
The stress of not knowing is starting to get to me.
I don't know where she is.
I don't know what she's doing.
I don't know if she's alright.
"Hey, Kacchan..."
The deep but still recognizable voice interrupts my thoughts. I don't bother turning around, I know exactly who it is.
"What do you want Deku?"
I hear Deku sigh. He moves to sit beside me, his legs dangling over the edge of the roof.
"I heard," he says, "about your wife, I mean."
'Grunt'
"So, any luck?"
"None of your business."
"Some things never change," Deku replies with a chuckle.
I finally turn to look at him.
Stupid Deku has bulked up since high school. He might be even larger than I am, though I won't admit it. His facial features have become sharper and more defined. The stupid nerd finally looks like an adult instead of a scrawny little kid.
Good for him I guess.
"How about I help you with your search," Deku suggests, "All my leads have led to dead ends, so I could use the distraction anyway."
"I don't need your help," I plainly state. (y/n) is my wife. It's my responsibility to find her make sure she's safe.
"Kacchan, listen to reason,"
I 'tch' in reply, but I let him speak anyway.
"You haven't been to Japan in years, a lot of things have changed. Some new buildings got built. Some stores were sold and replaced. Even our old middle school got shut down because of student mistreatment and discrimination. It was bought out by a small family and they turned it into a bed and breakfast."
That last one didn't surprise me. That school sucked. They should've stepped in when I beat the nerd up, but none of the teachers ever sparred it a second glance.
He's right though.
'Tch'
"Fine nerd," I reluctantly agree.

"I AM HERE!!"
Stupid Deku never changed his ringtone...
Deku pulls out his phone from his pocket. He unlocks it quickly and scans the text he just got. His eyebrows furrow in confusion.
"What's with the face?"
"I don't recognize this number," Deku says.
I hold out my hand for his phone. He reluctantly hands it to me, mouthing a' don't destroy it.'
How childish do you think I am? Stupid Deku.
I roll my eyes and look at the number on the screen.
I recognize it immediately.
"(y/n)?"
