Y/n's POV:
It's already been almost a week since I started working with Elizabeth. Although working is a big word, I rather just periodically help her with some little things. Anyway, it's the first time I feel so dedicated to my work. I try to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible, so that El isn't tired too much as she used to be.
Currently it's Sunday evening. I'm laying on my bed and replaying the events of the past days in my head. I'm so happy that me and Elizabeth often talk about topics that are not related to work. Every day we find something to discuss or laugh about.
"No way, no way you woke up in Miami after getting drunk at your best friend's engagement!" I couldn't believe she was actually capable of that. "I thought that shit happens only in stupid movies!" I stared at her with wide eyes, raised eyebrows and covering my mouth with my hand.
"I wish it was a lie, Y/n" she couldn't contain her laugh either. "Can you imagine the shock I felt when I woke up in completely unfamiliar room with a view of the Atlantic Ocean? I thought it was the worst possible thing that could happen to me, but then I looked in the mirror" she said while sipping her non-alcoholic mojito. "I couldn't even look at the alcohol for a year after this incident."
"You turn out to be such a bad girl, El" I smirk, still trying to combine her two different personalities in my head. It's like a superior version of Hannah Montana. "When did this even happen?"
"Almost three years ago. It's just that after the age of 25, people suddenly lose their ability to think sensibly after few shots of vodka and tequila. The last thing I remember from that day is how I tightly hug my best friend and say "It's time for me to find my happiness too!" I don't know why I was sure that I'd find it in Miami, but it turned out the way it did."
"Well, looks like you ended up finding it here" I say, pretending to be very excited about her upcoming wedding.
"Yeah, I think I did," she smiles dreamily.
"Have you decided on a wedding date yet?" God, I'd be such a good actress. Acting out the joy for her is almost Oscar-worthy.
"What?"
"Did you forget that you are going to get married, Elizabeth?"
"Oh, this happiness, no, we haven't decided on the date yet" incomprehensible look written on her face, when she briefly looks at her ring. "Have you ever drunk yourself to the point of losing your memory?" she changes the topic and I couldn't be more grateful as it was uncomfortable for me despite asking about it myself.
I smile over this memory from ear to ear. She definitely shouldn't have told me about this, because immediately after that she got the nickname AlcoWitch.
"I understand an "alco", but why a witch?" she can't stop laughing, scrunching her nose in adorable way, after our joint stream of dubious jokes.
"Because you flew to Miami. I'm not sure it was on a plane, because tequila does unexplainable things to people."
Before hanging out with her, I knew only three people that I could have this much fun with: Madison, Olivia and myself. I never thought that El and I had such a similar sense of humor and that she had so many hilarious stories in store. But sometimes we touched on quite serious topics, getting to know each other's deeper inner world.
Currently we're in my office, putting some paperwork and my workspace in order. I don't know what Elizabeth is doing here, because I could handle it myself, but I'm not going to question that.
"Were you ever afraid of getting caught with Taylor?" My blood suddenly freezes in my veins.
"W-what?" I don't even hide my stunned face expression, since I had no idea anyone knew about us.
