Y/n's POV:
"Passports, tickets, clothes, personal care items, beach things, my kitchen tools, medical insurance, cards, I hope we didn't forget anything," Elizabeth chatters under her breath, chaotically looking around the contents of two large suitcases and then looking up me for confirmation.
"Have you decided to take half of our house on a week-long trip? And why do you need your kitchen tools?" I ask open-eyed, being surprised at how carefully she decided to prepare.
"I always take them just in case," she replies with a furrowed brow and her face looks like she's thinking hard about what she hasn't packed yet again. "What did I forget?" Oh God, I know her too well.
"It's okay, El, we can buy everything we need there even if we forget something," I try to calm her down, going behind her and wrapping my arms around her midsection, feeling her body relax a little. "Are you always like this when you're going somewhere?"
"No, I usually prepare for trips at least a week in advance except for business ones 'cause they can be pretty random," Elizabeth replies in a more measured voice, but still with a touch of the previous turmoil and distraction in it.
"You need to be taught spontaneity, my love," I purr into her neck, feeling her hands cover mine and her head turn towards me, but suddenly her jade eyes freeze on the wall clock, widening in a second.
"We have to be on our way already!" Elizabeth exclaims, turning around in my arms and removing them from her body, quickly pressing a kiss to my forehead before approaching the bed with our suitcases and zipping them up, taking the handle one of them in her hand.
"Ellie, we're two hours away from our flight, rela-ax," I once again make an attempt to slow her down a bit, but seeing her determined expression that she gives me right after hearing my words, I can only obediently nod, take my own suitcase and follow her to the door.
"Better be there early, with our luck I won't be surprised if a ton of troubles are already waiting for us on the way," she comments in a serious tone, opening the door and letting me go first before she closes it, turning the keys clockwise twice.
"You're so grumpy today," I quietly say it in her back on our way to the elevator, hearing her letting a small huff out.
"I promise that I'll make up for it as soon as we are there," she replies with her head turned to the side so I could hear what she said to me and I mentally rejoice at my thoughts of the ways she can do it that I already came up with.
——————————
Surprisingly, and despite the pessimistic attitude of my girlfriend, we got to the airport quickly enough without any incidents, so we ended up left to wait there for our flight for another hour.Just a few days ago I was ready to cry over the mere thought that we were going to go on vacation together because our plans were ruined, and now we are sitting in the soft comfortable seats of the plane, chatting about various little things like nothing bad ever happened between us.
Fixing my eyes on Elizabeth's face while she is telling me something, my mind involuntarily begins to leave reality, plunging into thoughts about how divinely beautiful creature is sitting next to me. Her graceful unclothed neck, her luscious pink lips, which she licks from time to time while speaking, her slim aristocratic fingers that are drawing intricate patterns in the air, showing me something, her shining olive-green eyes that radiate the loving warmth dedicated only to me...She's simply the definition of perfection.
Without noticing how she stops her story, I continue to swim in the ocean of admiration for the goddess, whom I'm extremely lucky to call mine. My eyes scrutinize every small birthmark on her face, moving from her adorable little nose to her elegant collarbones barely covered with her blouse, making me want to touch them with my lips until her two fingers on my chin break my train of thought.
