"I'd like to make a toast," I stand up straight with my wine on my hand.

I took a breather to make sure I had everyone's attention and to give them time to put their conversations down and focus on me.

I smiled holding the glass of red wine in front, "First off, I'd like to thank everyone who are present tonight and for making this evening really special for the both of us."

My smile grew wider averting my eyes to the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my entire life..

She's seated sophisticatedly in front of me in her versatile fashion sense that really shouts elegance, fierce and power; she looks classy without trying too hard or intending to with her royal red evening silk dress.

"I would like to raise a toast to the woman I love the most.."

I paused for a moment as my heart exploded in delight seeing her smile in response with her own glass of champagne on her hand.

I resumed staring at her, "To my beloved, the one and only queen who reigns over my heart. Mahal na mahal kita, alam mo 'yan. Paulit-ulit, lagi't tangi.."

"Hear, hear," with a smile, my brother simply lifts his hand. "To a happily ever after for my sister and her lovely wife, Rhio Ritchel Veneracion-Abvelino."

"And incredibly exciting road that lies ahead of you both," Mr. Steven firmly interjected with a proud smile. "One year down, many more years to come. Happy Anniversary to the both of you."

"I raise my glass to our very own ZamRhio and to everyone in this place," It's Richelle all the way from their table with our circle of friends; Bea, Reign, Faye, Trina, Jazzver, Ezra and her new girlfriend only made it tonight. The rest of our acquaintances are all busy with their own lives.

"Congratulations and happiest anniversary to the both of you!" Malakas na hiyaw ni Ma'am Carmille sa tabi ni Kiana na matamis ring nakangiti sa amin.

"Well..cheers everyone," Rhio mumbles flabbergasted, slowly swirling the wine on her hand.

"Cheers!"

I slug down my drink and meet my wife, "Happy anniversary, baby."

We've invited everyone for an exclusive dinner party tonight to celebrate our first year of marriage and my heart is overflowing.

We're all gathered around the table now, long after dinner and another toast. Silver is putting on a performance for the both of us, he's playing violin in front as his wedding anniversary tribute.

"Silver, your violin sounds so stunning in your hands! Your performance was wonderful, I am so touched. Thank you, 'lil bro," the love of my life slowly and elegantly made a step forward to embrace her brother in appreciation.

And then she stepped back to where I am, always looking gorgeous. She broke into a smile the moment our eyes met, her heavenly-white teeth gleamed and before she could reach me, Silver dashed over for a quick high-five.
