We're attending a party tonight, not the fun kind so it's formal. Our Chairman, Doctor Travis of Afroilan Cares Doctor Hospital invited me as a gratitude for I was the one who helped her sister's out-of-hospital unexpected delivery, too far from the hospital. A fast and furious experience..

As a doctor, recently I attended a relief mission in Beachtown with my co-workers and students. We witnessed an accident on our route to the mall since we had run out of materials and we need to rush some things. It was a vehicle accident with a pregnant woman as a passenger and the driver was her husband.

I've been in the similar circumstance numerous times, but it was the most terrifying moment of my life because the couple involved in the accident went through the edge of death, but we were able to save them and the baby as her mother went into labor on the site. Her labour didn't go quite as expected, the baby didn't make it to hospital for proper delivery but they're all safe and healthy eventually.

Because of that unexpected incident, my name attracted considerable interest and caused a great deal of buzz in the media, I discovered that the woman I aided and abetted in having given birth is my Chairman's sister, and her husband is a well-known businessman.

"This way po," the hotel receptionist assisted us with her fixed sweet smile and polite eye contact.

"Psh, I hate the way people always stare at you," mahinang bulong ko against my wife's ear.

I caught a guy on the entrance intently staring at her, he looks formal in his black suit, obvious that he's part of this party.

"Don't mind them," she stares at me softly, red has always been her color, she always looks like an extremely powerful femme fatale in red dresses.

'Yung kamay niyang nasa braso ko ay dumausdos pababa, she intertwined our fingers.

"I'm dying to mark you over and over again," I whispered that gained a sensual smirk from her.

I couldn't help myself to give off a jealous vibe, I have to brush it off cause we just got inside the party hall and we're supposed to be having fun here.

"Then here are the excessive stares again," I hissed under my breathe.

They are like poor people staring at expensive sweets in sweet shops but can't get them.
