"So like, what do we do now? Do we just sit and wait for the results?"
The older male asked the younger woman next to him. His friend just taken a ClearBlue test and he had no idea what to do next.
Mariah- I don't know, I guess. I've never done this before.
O turned to look Mariah dead in the eyes with a "seriously?" expression.
O- How've you never taken a pregnancy test?
Mari shrugged, not really having an answer.
Mariah- Uhh..no? I'm usually on the pill, so I didn't really have any problems.
O- Well, are you still on it?
Normally for any other person to ask her that question, Mari wouldn't want to answer it. Why would she? But this was O, basically her brother.
Mariah- I haven't been in two years.
In his head, O began calling his friend all sorts of names ranging from stupid to dumbass.
O- Why the fuck not?
He folded his arms, looking down at her with eyes full of judgement.
Mariah- Why would I be? I haven't had a boyfriend, not have I fucked anyone since then.
O- So you're saying, when you were doing it with Melo this whole month, it never crossed your mind to go back onto the pill?
The realization set in for Mariah and her eyes completely widened. A newfound panic spread throughout her body. There was a chance she could be pregnant and that terrified her.
Mariah- I'm so fucking screwed.
As his friend was freaking out, O was putting pieces of the puzzle together. He thought back to Melo's post of him calling Mari his baby momma and hoped what he thought wasn't real.
O- Mari..do you think there's a chance that Melo knew you were off?
He finally spoke up after what seemed like forever. His question made Mariah stop pacing and almost freeze on sight.
Mariah- You think he planned this shit?
O- It's possible. Because why would he call you that if there wasn't a chance you were pregnant?
Mariah- I don't know? Cause he's crazy.
O- He may be a lot of things, but I know for a fact he'll tell the truth to a certain extent.
Mariah- Oh my God, if this comes back positive I'm literally killing him.
O- Lucky for you..the results are in.
