After Ana stormed out of Melo's place, LiAngelo decided it was the best time to talk to his little brother, see why he was acting out.
Gelo- Was what you said true?
He asked, after the long moment of awkward silence between the three people in the room.
At first Melo didn't respond because he was in his own world. But he quickly snapped back to reality when Gelo threw a pillow at his face.
Melo- Fuck was that for?
He threw it right back at Gelo who just rolled his eyes, annoyed at Melo.
Gelo- Is it true nigga?
Melo- Is what true?
Evoni sat back, watching the two brothers bicker back and forth.
Gelo- The stuff you said about Mari, how she don't want nothing to do with you, and it's all you who starts shit.
Melo- Oh, yeah. That's all true.
Gears started clicking in Gelo's head. Everything was making sense now. He didn't know what happened behind closed doors with the two, but he knew it was bad.
Gelo- If she wants nothing to do with you, why does she keep coming back?
Melo- I don't know. That's something you gotta ask her.
Something wasn't adding up right for Gelo. For two years Mariah wasn't in any of their lives except for Dmo's, the only way she came back was through Melo. If she hated him that much, what's he doing to keep her coming back?
So he decided to ask the question that might change everything he knew about his younger brother based on his answer.
Gelo- Melo, be honest. Have you ever hurt her?
LaMelo shifted. They both could tell he was getting nervous. So he let out a nervous laugh.

Melo- What exactly are you suggesting?
He asked, standing up and bringing back the cocky attitude. Gelo wasn't afraid of Melo. He stood up as well. Evoni's eyes widened and she quickly opened her voice memo app, wanting to catch something important.
Gelo- Have you ever put your hands on her?
The two males were neck and neck, except Melo was towering over Gelo a bit. But you could tell things were getting intense. Melo knew what would happen if he told the truth, but his ego got in the way.
Melo- What makes you think I have?
Gelo- Because I saw her story post. Removed herself from a bad situation caused by a bad person. I just know that was about you, so I'm gonna ask you one more time LaMelo. Have you ever put your hands on Mariah?
The tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
Melo- And if I did?
Oh shit, Evoni thought. This just got real.
Gelo- Then I guess that makes you a bitch.
He punched Melo hard in his chest, making the younger boy stumble back and wheeze a bit. This was a fight Melo knew he'd lose, but he might as well make the most of it.
Melo- Mhm, and she deserves every single hit. I'll do it again in a heartbeat.
Gelo lounged towards Melo, hitting him every chance he got. Melo may be taller, but Gelo sure was stronger.
Gelo- I bet you won't say that shit to Dmo or pops though.
He said, weaving all of Melo's punches.
Melo- You absolutely right nigga.
Gelo- That's okay though. I'll tell them myself, while you're taking this nap.
With that, he cocked back his arm and swung as hard as he could at his brother's face. From then on, it was lights out for Melo.
