"Huh? The chef's not here..?" Paimon asked aloud as you and your companions looked around the empty kitchen.

"Darling, can I see the ingredients we have in our inventory?" you asked as you walked around the kitchen and searched through the cabinets.

"Oh, sure. What do you need?" Aether replied as you told him some of the ingredients you'll need to make your Jambalaya. Walking around the kitchen, you placed the materials you're going to use on the table in front of you.

"Anyways, Paimon and I will go look for the chef and ask him if he can make some Almond Tofu. You can stay here and cook the Jambalaya and no one will be disturbing you for now." Aether suggested as you nodded in reply and pulled away from the hug.

"Do come see me if something unexpected happens, dear." you told Aether as you watched him and Paimon leave the kitchen. You hummed a tune to yourself as you held a knife in front of you and grinned widely.

"Time to make some Jambalaya!" you happily exclaimed with a chuckle, watching as the knife glinted and reflected your grinning self.

"Hey (Y/N)! We're back!" Aether called out as you looked behind to see Aether and Paimon enter the kitchen.

"What's cooking..? It smells so good that it's making Paimon hungry!" Paimon exclaimed as she and Aether went besides you and peered over your shoulder to look at the pan you were stirring.

"Can we try some? It smells so good." Aether asked, giving you puppy eyes as you shook your head and gently pushed him and Paimon away.

"Not yet, darling. It would be much better once it's finished. Be patient." you replied as you booped Aether's nose and laughed when he gave you a small pout in return. You grinned and leaned closer towards Aether.

"Patience, my dear. I'm sure you'll find it more satisfying and delicious when it's done. By the way... you look quite adorable when you pout." you whispered in Aether's ear as you leaned away and watched as a dark red blush covered the blonde's face up to the tip of his ears.

"Anyways, did you both managed to find the chef?" you asked your companions.

"Yeah but he seemed shaken up about the kitchen being haunted. He told us he wouldn't make Almond Tofu unless the kitchen is safe." Aether explained while Paimon nodded beside him.

"He looks so intimidating but when he talks about ghosts, he becomes weak." Paimon commented, making you laugh.

"Well, I don't know about any poltergeist aside from that girl over there." you exclaimed, pointing behind Aether and towards a ghost who was merrily skipping away.

You quickly covered your ears when Paimon shrieked in fear as she looked at you then towards the place where the ghost went.

"You've been in the same room with a ghost! Aren't you scared?!" Paimon asked as you turned off the stove behind you and gave her a look.

"I'm a demon, darling. Besides, she kept me some good company and even danced along when I was singing. I don't see a reason to be afraid of her." you replied, crossing your arms as you stared at Paimon with an amused look.

"Do you need my assistance to take care of the ghost? Just say the word and I can take care of it in a jiffy. I'm sure it won't cost that much power." you stated, ready to snap your fingers until Aether shook his head.

"No need. I'm sure that Paimon and I can handle this. We'll just tell the boss lady about this and maybe ask her what we could do." Aether replied.

"Um.. can Paimon stay with (Y/N) instead? Paimon doesn't want to be doing ghost missions.. ehe.." Paimon muttered out, fiddling with her fingerd as she smiled at Aether.

"No. You're coming with me. I'm already guessing you plan to eat (Y/N)'s cooking first." Aether exclaimed, grabbing Paimon by her clothes as he dragged her out of the kitchen.

"Nooo! (Y/N)! Help Paimon!" Paimon cried out towards you as you chuckled and waved her goodbye. You watched your companions leave the kitchen again to deal with the ghost problem.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my kitchen?" a voice exclaimed as you turned around to see a buff male with raven hair pointing a knife at you.

"Calm down, my friend. I bring you no harm. I'm just cooking a dish for some people so could you kindly put down the knife." you replied as you pushed the knife away from your face.

"Cooking..?" the male questioned as he looked behind you to see the numerous servings of Jambalaya on the table.

"I think I made quite a lot of servings and plan to give some of them to the staff of the inn. You can take a bite if you wish, I take it that you're the chef?" you asked as you watched the male look at you before grabbing a spoon and eating a spoonful of your Jambalaya.

"Oh my Archons..." the male trailed off as he dropped the spoon to the ground. You raised a brow at the male, curious of his sudden reaction. You were surprised when the male kneeled in front of you. But nonetheless, it brought you satisfaction.

"That was the most delicious food I have ever tasted in my entire life. You have my respect as a chef. I would like to ask for the recipe of that... that dish you created. Forgive my rudeness, I am Smiley Yanxiao." the male exclaimed.

"(Y/N), the Radio Demon. It's a pleasure to meet you. As for the recipe, I'm afraid that I can't give you it. It's my mother's wonderful recipe for Jambalaya after all." you stated with a small grin as Smiley stood up from his position.

"Very well, I understand." Smiley replied, giving you a smile.

"We're back! The ghost won'tbe disturbing the kitchen any time soon." Paimon exclaimed while entering the kitchen, Aether following behind her with various cuts all over his face as he sat down on one of the seats beside the table.

"Welcome back, Aether, Paimon." you greeted. Paimon went on ahead to talk to Smiley as you grabbed a wet cloth and made your way towards Aether.

"I'm guessing you fought something much more bigger than a hilichurl?" you asked as Aether looked at you.

"It was a ruin hunter. Almost sliced me in half." Aether replied, chuckling to himself as you gently grabbed his chin to make him face you.

"Sounds fun. Nice to see you came back alive and as a whole. I don't know what I would do if you came back as ground meat." you commented with a small laugh as you cleaned the cuts on Aether's face, not noticing the blonde looking at you fondly.

"Hey (Y/N)?" Aether called out as he gently wrapped his fingers around your hand that was holding his chin. You hummed in reply, urging the blonde to continue.

"Have you.. ever been in a relationship before?" Aether asked, watching as you placed the cloth on the table before looking at him.

"No, not really. Why do you ask?" you replied with a small grin, tilting your head to the side as Aether placed a light kiss on your wrist before smiling up at you.

"Nothing at all. Just curious." Aether exclaimed.
