"You're heading back to Liyue Harbor?" Xiao asked as he watched your companions hand the room key back to Verr Goldet.

"Yes indeedy! We need our names to be cleared, after all! As much as I love to walk around with people coming after me, I won't be able to enjoy my visit in Lee-you!" you answered, placing your arms behind your back as you grinned at the adeptus in front of you.

"It's Liyue. Get it right." Xiao replied, correcting your pronunciation as you shrugged in return.

"If you ever wanted me to cook Jambalaya for you again, I suppose you can teleport to my location and whisk me away like a prince charming!" you exclaimed as you watched Xiao turn his head away from you.

"Whatever. Just go already." Xiao stated.

"Oh! My poor black and empty heart! Not even a goodbye? Oh, how you hurt me so, darling!" you cried out, dramatically placing your hand on your chest as you gave Xiao a hurt look with a smile on your face.

Xiao tsked in reply as he rolled his eyes at your behavior. You watched as the male disappear before you, leaving a trail of black and green smoke.

"(Y/N), come on. Let's head back to the Northland Bank." Aether called out.

"Coming, darling." you replied as you followed your companions and exited Wangshu Inn. You felt eyes on you when you and your friends were a few meters away from the inn. Chuckling to yourself as you already know who was following you, you turned around and saw a flash of teal disappear behind the bushes.

'Such a silly yaksha. Quite an adorable one as well.' you thought to yourself with a small grin as you continued your way to Liyue Harbor with your friends.

----------

"Lee-ooo-lee Pavilion..?" you asked the bank staff in confusion, the words foreign to your tongue as you tried to pronounce it correctly.

"It's Liuli Pavilion." the bank staff corrected you.

"Ohh! Paimon knows where that is! Come on, let's go!" Paimon exclaimed as she quickly flew out of the bank, Aether following after her. You were about to join them when the fatui bank staff called out to you.

"Miss (Y/N), if I may, would you care to be a part of the fatui? A demon of your status can be of assistance to the Tsaritsa. Your name would be known throughout the nation." the staff exclaimed, giving you a smile. You turned towards the staff and gave her a large grin.

"Thanks for the offer but I'll have to decline. I have no intention of being a mere pet to the fatui. Besides, if I want to make a name for myself, I can do it in my own way." you replied, your eyes glinting red as you stared at the staff.

Your grin widened even more when you noticed the staff in front of you becoming uncomfortable. You turned your back to the staff and began to walk towards the exit of the bank. You held the handle of the door and looked back at the staff.

"Be a dear and tell Signora that the Radio Demon is coming for her, alright?" you told the staff, a dark chuckle erupting from your throat as you left the building.

You walked around the area and found your companions talking to Childe. Childe noticed you in the corner of his eyes and waved you over, a small grin plastered on his face.

"Girlie! You made it just in time. I'm glad to see you haven't turned into a statue yet." Childe exclaimed, making you laugh in return.

"Oh please, I'm sure I would still look more pleasant even as a statue." you replied with a grin.

"I'm sure you will... I'd even be more happy to have your statue in my office." Childe stated, muttering the last part to himself. You were able to hear it with your sensitive hearing as you looked at him with a raised brow.

"Anyways, as promised, I found someone who can help you. Someone who can solve the mystery of why the Liyue Qixing would hide the Geo Archon's vessel." Childe informed.

"Can I get some parts of the Geo Archon? I haven't tried dragon meat yet but I think it will taste wonderful considering the dragon is a god itself. Maybe I can be able to cook it or eat it raw?" you whispered towards Aether, your eyes lighting up in delight as you talked about the numerous dishes you can make with dragon meat while a small amount of drool fell out of the corner of your mouth.

"No (Y/N). You can't just eat the Geo Archon. Besides, what if it's not even.. edible?" Aether replied as he wiped away the drool from your mouth.

"If it's not edible then I'll just have the head and hang it on a wall as a souvenir." you stated, a small grin on your face as the thought of  a dragon's head hanging on your wall appeared in your mind.

"No." Aether replied, a look of shock forming on his face as you grabbed both of his shoulders and turned him to face you.

"The god is already dead, dear. It's nothing more than a vessel. A mere corpse that this nation's government won't bury or give a simple funeral for it." you exclaimed.

You were caught off guard when Aether held your hands that was on either side of his shoulders and looked at you, his forehead touching against yours.

"Can't you at least give some respect for a god? Even just a small amount of it?" Aether asked, a small frown plastered upon his face when you rolled your eyes in response.

"You do know that this god you want me to be respectful to, cursed me before the start of these recent events?" you replied as you pulled away from Aether when Paimon and Childe called out for the two of you to hurry along.

"I know that. I'm trying to find a cure as well... Let's just hope this person Childe was talking about can at least know about another way to remove that curse." Aether stated, rubbing the back of his head as he looked down in shame.

You let out a small sigh and held Aether's arm, linking your arm with his as you gently tugged him to move forward. Aether gave you a confused look as you grinned at him in return.

"I'll try my best to be... respectful. Depends on my mood if I want to be. For now, I just wanted to inform you that you're currently underdressed. Do you remember what I told you?" you asked, watching as Aether tried to process what you said.

"If I remember what you said correctly, 'Smile, my dear! You know you're never fully dressed without one!', like that right?" Aether asked as he gave you a grin, saying your catchphrase while having difficulty in trying to copy your accent.

"Yes indeedy, darling! I'm glad to know you remembered!" you exclaimed, the static in your voice becoming more evident when you laughed. Aether looked around only to see the two of you were the only ones left outside the restaurant.

"Let's head inside. I can't believe Paimon didn't even wait for us." Aether stated, pulling you towards Liuli Pavilion as he opened the door and bowed towards you.

"You know Paimon. Food is her first priority, she'll forget about everything except food." you replied.

"My lady." Aether exclaimed, snickering to himself at his poor acting as he smiled at you.

"My, such a gentleman!" you stated with a giggle.
