Smut warning, 18+!!
A few days after that night with Jake, work got hectic. Starting this morning, the boys and I are out for 2 weeks doing a small tour around a few surrounding states. They only get a handful of nights off within these two weeks and when they're not playing, they're doing press or meeting with people. As the band's photographer, I get to stay with the boys the whole time, which is nice, but I also literally can't get away from them. Of course, the bickering begins right away with sleeping arrangements on the bus.
"Why should you get the top bunk? You're way shorter! You and Jake get bottom bunks and me and Danny get the top ones, it makes the most sense!" Sam exclaims, standing in front of Josh who was tossing his stuff into the top bunk.
"Life doesn't always have to be logical, Sam." He replies, hoisting himself into the bunk by using the one below it.
"He's right, I mean if you have to piss in the middle of the night you're gonna fall out of there," Danny shrugs from his bunk, the curtain open so he could watch the two while Jake stands against the wall, watching as well.
"See?! MJ, I'm right, right?" Sam asks, turning to me and causing all of his brothers to do the same.
"I don't know, but if you two don't decide in the next 60 seconds you're going to have to take your own pictures." I say, setting my stuff down beside the couch. It took me two days of convincing the boys that I would be just fine on one of the big couches, we all know I'll end up with Jake at some point but I'm trying to give him as much space as he needs. I don't need to be a distraction.
"Harsh," Sam mumbles, tossing his stuff into the lower bunk and going in, closing the sliding curtain behind him.
"We're off in 5!" the driver calls out, all of the boys and I thanking him.
Danny, Jake, Josh, and I all sit on the couches, Sam still sulking in his bed. We turn the tv on and settle in, ready to head to the first city.
I feel Jake pull me in closer, causing me to rest my head comfortably on his shoulder and grab the blanket from beside me, pulling it over us.
"You know you're not sleeping on a couch, right?" he whispers, if the other boys could hear they probably couldn't make out what he was saying, plus they were too into the movie anyways.
"Yes I am, Jake, I'm not distracting you during these next couple of weeks." I whisper back, shaking my head and looking up at him.
"You sleeping on the couch will be far more distracting than you being in a bed with me. That's the closest we'll be able to get on this bus," he says, his tone still low, as he snakes his hand from my knee up to my thigh, everything concealed by the blanket.
I bite my lower lip slightly and nod, "we'll figure something out, but I'll stay in your bunk. If you start getting distracted I'm moving to the couch," I nod, leaning up and kissing his cheek softly. "Now watch the movie," I whisper, putting my hand over his.

I fell asleep for about an hour of the drive, and the rest of the guys spent it playing games or watching movies. The first city, something near Louisville, is only about 3 hours from Nashville, so it wasn't too bad of a ride. Around the time I woke up is when Sam finally came out of his bunk, and I could tell he fell asleep as well. With only about 45 minutes left, Jake takes my hand and takes me down the hall, over to his bunk, letting me go in first before closing the curtains while the other boys play cards and have a beer. Shockingly, the bunks are roomy. I could fully sit up and still have room.
"May I help you?" I ask with a little laugh, watching him close the curtain and turn to me.
"I just wanted to be close to you," he smiles, getting comfortable and pulling me into his lap so I was straddling him, looking down at him.
