Over the next few days, Jake had been at the studio every day, but when he wasn't there he made sure to spend time with me. Tonight we decided to all go to Josh's after a day in the studio together. It was a long day, but I got plenty of content of them practicing for their social media platforms.

Since I last saw my mom, I decided not to have contact with her anymore. It's hard, but it's not very different from how I've been living for the past 16 years. Jake hasn't missed a beat with helping me through it all.

I decided to ride home with Danny and Sam while the twins drive together since we only brought 2 cars to the studio today.

"Okay so if we stopped at the liquor store down the street from here and then went to that Walmart around the corner we could definitely get everything to make cookies," I nod, going over the plan with my body turned to Sam who I made sit in the back seat with me.

"Wait wait, I don't see what the liquor store has for making cookies," Danny questions, looking at us in the rearview mirror.

"Booze, duh! You think we're making cookies sober? That's no fun, Dan," I say, shaking my head and checking the time on my phone.

Eventually, we get to the liquor store, then go to the store just down the road. We get stuff to make cookies along with various snacks and sweets before heading over to Josh's house. We walk in the see the twins sitting in the living room, still going over stuff from earlier at the studio.

"Excuse me, but work is over for the day!" I say, Sam and Danny following me to the kitchen where the twins soon join us.

"What the hell did you buy, the whole store? I knew sending MJ and Sam was a bad idea but you were supposed to watch them, Danny," Jake says, half-joking, as he looks at the bags that his younger brother and I set down.

"Everything we got is fun, stop whining," Sam says, emptying the bag from the liquor store as I get the snacks out of the other.

"I didn't know what snacks you all wanted so I just got a little bit of everything," I shrug, dumping the two bags onto the counter and watching the snacks spread over it.

"I think you've covered every possible request here, Mary Jane," Josh laughs, coming over and grabbing a bag of chips from the pile, opening them as he makes his way to the counter before sitting on the stool, soon joined by Danny and Jake after they finish getting their first drinks.

"What? None of you are helping make cookies?" Sam asks, looking at them while I set everything out.

"No, it was your id-" Jake starts.

"Nope, you're helping, all three of you! No saying no, we're gonna have fun. Someone put some music on," I state simply, looking over to see Jake and Danny groaning and getting up while Josh does the same, but with a smile.

"There's the MJ we know and love," Josh says, coming and putting a hand on my shoulder.

I laugh a bit and shake my head, telling each guy what their job is while Jake plays music from a speaker that he sets on the counter out of the way. As we make the cookies we have multiple drinks, laughing and singing along while successfully making a huge mess.

I close the oven door after putting the cookies in and turn to the boys, "Alright, everyone go find something for us to do while I clean up!"

They're all quick to find something to occupy their time while Jake stays back with me.

"Oh, so now you wanna help?" I ask jokingly as I walk over to him, standing face to face.
