Wedding day

Kirstie POV

Oh my gosh. I'm so nervous. What if he changes his mind?! I paced back and forth in the room where I'm waiting until the big moment. There's a knock on the door, followed by it opening to reveal Esther and my parents.

"You look amazing baby girl!" My mom said and hugged me.

"Thanks mom." I smiled.

"You really do honey. You really do." My dad said, smiling. "I can't believe I'm giving my baby girl away today." He sniffed.

"Aww dad." I said and hugged him.

"Ahh, I'm okay." He waved it off. "He'll take great care of you. I'm sure of it." He smiled.

My heart nearly exploded in my chest. Knowing my dad trusts Avi that much means the absolute world to me.

"He's a nervous wreck out there." Esther laughed. "He kept telling me to come in here and make sure you didn't changed your mind." She laughed again.

I laughed with her. Classic Avi. I took a deep breath and looked at the three of them.

"Well. Shall we?" I asked.

My mom and Esther nodded, leaving to take their places. My dad stayed and gave me a giant hug.

"I love you so much sweetie."

"I love you too dad." I said into his chest.

He pulled away and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Let's go, soon to be Mrs. Kaplan." He smiled and we walked out.

We got to the doors and I linked my arm with his. We looked at each other and took a deep breath. He gave me a reassuring smile and the doors opened. The music began to play as I walked down the aisle, linked to my fathers arm. Avi must have been caught off guard because when the doors opened he whirled around like he was talking. He stared at me and his hands flew to his mouth, covering it. I could see from a distance that he already had tears in his eyes, but not just tears. I could also see the happiness and pure love in his eyes.

Avi POV

I was talking to Kevin when the doors suddenly opened. I whirled around, caught off guard and saw her walking down the aisle. I would describe how amazing she looks, but I can't seem to put it into words. The girl I love so so much is walking down the aisle to me, in her wedding dress. I soon get overwhelmed and my hands flew up to cover my mouth and tears formed in my eyes. She's perfect. I can't even think of anything else to say besides perfect. Before I knew it she's standing right in front of me and her dad lets her go. She stands infront of me and I take her hands.

"H-Hi." Was all I could manage to say.

She giggled. "Hi. You look handsome." She whispered.

"You look.. Wow.. You look... P-Perfect." I whispered.

She smiled and so did I.

"We are gathered here today, to celebrate the joining of Ms. Kirstin Maldonado and Mr. Avi Kaplan."

I can't believe it. I'm minutes away from making her mine. The preacher read some verses from the Bible and then looked to us.

"Rings and Vows?" He smiled.

We nodded and I looked at Kirstie. She could still tell I was having trouble putting together complete sentences so she started.

"Well, I don't really know where to begin." She paused. "You have been there through thick and thin. The highs and the lows. Even when I didn't see you as anything more than a friend, you were there, always. Once I finally got my act together and we started dating." She said, earning some laughs from the crowd and myself. "I realized that I had found the one man who I could count on for the rest of my life." She said, sliding the ring on my finger. "The one who would go to the ends of the Earth to protect me and love me like no other. The one who loves me for me and nothing else. The one who I know will keep the promise to be by my side till death do us part. The one who will love me unconditionally for as long as I live. The one who puts me before everything. You, the one and the only one for me. I love you." She smiled and I wiped away a tear that was running down her cheek.

The preacher smiled and looked to me.

"Avi?"

I took a deep breath.

"Well I don't how I can go after that." I chuckled and everyone laughed.

"Okay." I took one more deep breath.

"Kirstie, you constantly leave me breathless. From the very first time I saw you I knew there was something extremely special about you, and I may have not known then, but I do now." I said sliding the ring on her finger. "Y-You're all I need." I said choking up a little bit." I wouldn't hesitate to do anything for you. I would lay my life down for you, and I promise, I promise with all my heart that I will protect you through our life together. I promise we'll grow old together. I promise I'll be there for you through everything, because you're my everything and I couldn't even imagine what my life would be like without you in it. You're my queen, and I promise to serve you like royalty. Forever and a day as we say, till death do us part, I'll love with all I am."

I took another deep breath and she had tears running down her face. I wiped them away and she smiled at me. I returned the smile and I waited for the preacher to say those five words. Those five words that will start the begining of our new life together.

"Avriel Benjamin Kaplan, do you take Kirstin Taylor Maldonado to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you both shall live?" The preacher asked me.

I gazed into Kirstie's eyes.

"I do."

"And you Kirstin Taylor Maldonado, take Avriel Benjamin Kaplan to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you both shall live?"

She looked me in the eyes and smiled.

"I do."

"Well, then by the power invested in me. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

I waste no time in pulling her to me and connecting her lips with mine. Everyone was cheering, but I tuned them out. All I could think about was how Kirstin Taylor Maldonado is all mine. Oh! Excuse me. Kirstin Taylor Kaplan is all mine.

AN: Heey! So this is the end. This was so much fun to work on and write, and it's kinda bitter-sweet considering this is the first book I published! Anyway, hope y'all enjoyed it, I sure did. Thanks for reading, voting, and commenting! Love y'all, and I'll see y'all in the pages<3
