APOV

"Okay, Mr. Kaplan. You are free to go." Said the nurse smiling.

"Thank you, ma'am." I said returning a smile.

I walked out of the room to the waiting room where everyone was standing.

"Hey, man how ya doin'?" Kevin said giving me a light bro hug.

"Doing good. Nurse said I'll need a little rest, and to gradually build up the muscle again."

"You'll be better in no time!" Mitch said giving me two thumbs up.

I smiled and looked to Kirstie. She didn't really talk at all. To be honest things felt a little awkward. Maybe it's just me. I don't know.
We all walked out of the hospital and loaded into the cars. I rode with Kev and the trio rode in Scott's car. Tour was starting so we all went to our seperate apartments to get a couple extra things for the rode. Kevin and I stopped by our apartment while the trio stopped by their's. When we were done we all met up at the tour bus and began loading. I was picking up some bags to help load when they were taken from me.

"Nuh uh Avi. You still need time to heal. Go in the tour bus and rest." Scott told me.

"I'm fine! I'm not gunna let y'all load this by yourselves!"

"Avi."

"Fine."

I walked into the tour bus and went to the back where I had already put a couple of my bags. Some of which had some weights. If I was going to make a speedy recovery I had to start on this muscle builder thingy.
As much as it hurt I kept it going for about 10 minutes, and probably could've done longer but Kirstie walked in.

"Oh. Are you busy?"

"Oh. Uh, no. I'm just- I just thought that if I started some exercises I-uh... Could heal..faster."

Come on Kaplan you're stumbling out there. Get it together man!

"Oh. Well uh... Do you have time to talk?"

"Ya sure." I set the weights down.

She stared at the weights and the pain pills I had on the stool next to me.

"It's my fault you have to do this.." She said lowering her head.

"Hey, no it's not." I said

She didn't move she just stared at the ground. I can't let her think this is all her fault. Mainly, because it's not! It was my decision!

"Look at me."

I gently lifted her head up to look at me.

"It's not your fault. Before you know it, I'll be as good as new again."

She looked like she didn't believe me. I stepped closer than I already was and put my hands on her waist.

"I'd do anything for you, remember?"

She smiled and wrapped her hands around my neck, pulling me closer.

"Yeah. I remember."

I leaned in and so did she. Our lips barely touched when-

"AVI!!!"

We both jumped apart and I ran my fingers through my hair.

"In here Kevin!"

I heard his footsteps coming and he popped around the corner. I had told him what happened with Kirstie last night, so him seeing me and her alone would amount in endless teaseing.

"Oh! I am sorry. Were y'all talkin'?"

"Yes Kevin."

"Yikes! I'm sorry bro. But uh.. Which bag is yours? We're trying to keep everyone's stuff together."

"The green one Kevin."

He smacked his forhead.

"DUH. Ha I wasn't even thinking! Thanks buddy!"

And with that he left. I sat there rubbing the back of my neck and looked at Kirstie. She was laughing and just shook her head. I shoved my hands in my front pockets and looked at the ground. Wow, this was awkward. I laughed and looked up trying to mask the hint of awkwardness. She was still laughing and walked toward me. She grabbed the sides of my face, pulled me in and kissed me. It was magical. Everytime we kissed it felt like the first, the butterflies, heart flutters, everything. We pulled away.

"Don't start something you can't finish. Babe."

She winked and started walking away.

"Technically, Kevin just interupted me." I said smiling

"Suuuure." She said walking through the door.

I still stood there with my hands in my pockets.
Babe. I could get used to that. I thought to myself and laughed before walking outside to meet with everyone else.
