Meant to be?

Chapter 3

APOV

We needed to get Kirstie's mind of things, and get down to the bottom of this. But I couldn't do this alone. I talked to Scott, Mitch, and Kevin about it and they agreed to help.

"We should take her out on a shopping spree!!" Mitch exclaimed.

"And by the music shop!" Suggested Scott.

"Also out to eat." Kevin added

"Good. We can take her shopping, including the music shop, and then take her out to eat." I confirmed everyones ideas.

"Okay! I'll go tell her to get ready!" said Mitch, he was exstatic!

Some time passed and here came Kirstie. God, she was beautiful. I snapped myself out of my trance and asked everyone if they were ready to go. Once everyone got their things together we headed out. We decided to go get a bite to eat and then hit up some shops.
It was around 9:30 pm when we were walking out of the last shop. Scott, Mitch, Kevin, and Esther were all walking together while me and Kirstie were walking a little farther behind. Suddenly, she grabed ahold of my arm.

"Thanks for doing this Avi." She looked up and smiled at me.

"Sure, anything for you." I said through a chuckle.

We were almost to the cars when Kirstie became uneasy.

"Oh no.." She said.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Matt.."

I look up and there he was walking toward us with his little group. He noticed Kirstie still had her arms wrapped around mine, and judging by the look on his face, this wasn't going to end well.
