Chapter 31

Kevin POV

"Hey guys!"

We all turned and looked to see Avi getting put of his car.

"Sup homie!" I said, smiling.

Everyone laughed, and Mitch started discussing the proposal.

"So what exactly did you have planned for your date?"

"Well, I was going to take her to dinner. It's a place not to far from here, and not too fancy, but classy. If that made sense." He chuckled.

"Yeah, it does." Scott laughed.

"Alright, and then?" Mitch asked.

"Then, we were just going to walk around in the park and eventually make our way to this trail y'all found. By the way where is that?" He asked and looked around.

"Kev. Care to show us the way?" Mitch asked.

"Certainly." I replied and lead the way to the trail.

We walked for couple minutes before arriving at our destination.

"And here it is. Shall we?" I asked.

We walked on the trail to the clearing. The grass was so soft and the area was engulfed in trees, making your presence unknown to the outside world. There were beautiful flowers and bushes and it was just.... Beautiful.

"Wow....." Avi gasped.

"It's amazing, huh?" Scott said in awe.

"It's perfect." He said still amazed.

"YES!" Mitch suddenly screamed, holding his phone in his hand.

"What?!" All three of us simontaniously screeamed out of shock.

"I texted Ryan and asked him if he could take secret pictures of the proposal, and he said yes!" He beamed.

"That's a great idea! Nice one Mitch." I said nudging his shoulder.

"Thank you, thank you." He said doing a little bow.

"This is going to be perfect. Kirstie is going to be so happy." Scott said wrapping arm around Avi's shoulder.

Avi pulled out his phone and looked at it.

"DANGIT I NEED TO GO!" He said and took off running back to his car. "Thank you guys for everything! I love y'all!" He yelled back to us, and with that, he was gone.

"The date's probably about to start." Scott said casually.

His eyes widened.

"THE DATE'S ABOUT TO START!! WE HAVE TO GET READY!!" He screamed putting his hands on his head.

"You're right! Let me call Ryan and get him out here."

This is it. My brother is getting married. Tears threatened to flow from my eyes, but I choked them back. I couldn't be heppier for him.

Avi POV

Oh my gosh! I'm running late. I'm driving like a maniac down the street to get to our apartment. Kirstie is probably already there! Ugh!

I finally make it to our apartment and see Esther's car there. Great. I bolt inside the door and see them just sitting on the couch talking.

"Whoa, Avi why are you so sweaty?" Kirstie asked.

I looked at the clock on the microwave in the kitchen and then pulled out my phone.

My phone was 20 minutes fast...
