Chapter 39

Kirstie POV

We arrived at our first club and it wasn't much different from the ones in LA, but that could be that's it's just a bar and not strip club. I can only pray that they don't have any of those planned.

"Hey ladies, what can I get for ya?" The bartender screamed over the music.

"Vodka shots!" Jenna spoke before any of us could.

I gave her a look and she just waved me off.

"It'll be fine!" She assured me.

I shook my head as the bartender came back, and set the shots in front of us. Jenna was the first to go all in, and began taking one after another. Soon enough, Crystal and Esther joined in. I took one and sat back and watched them. I reached for another one just as my phone began to buzz. I take it out and look at the caller ID.

It was Avi...

I answer it and hesitantly say, "Hello?"

"Babe! Hey! I stole my phone from Mitch and I just wanted to tell you that I- OW MITCH WHAT THE FU-"

"GIVE ME THE PHONE AVRIEL OR I WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL!"

"YOU ALREADY ARE!!"

They argued and argued and I heard rumbling and a lot of shuffling.

"Guys stop it!" I heard Kevin in the background.

It sounded like Avi was running and then I heard a door slam.

"Babe?.." I asked.

"I just wanted to tell you that I love you. I love you more than anything, okay?"

"Um okay? I love you too, but why are yo-"

"AVI I'M NOT KIDDING!" Mitch yelled.

"GOOD GOD MITCH, JUST LET ME TALK TO MY FIANCÉE!"

"YOU CAN TALK TO HER AT YOUR WEDDING!" He yelled and it sounded like he took the phone from Avi.

"Sorry Kirstin, but this is a night for each of you to do what you please, and to enjoy yourselves. So we will see you on your wedding day. Love you!" Mitch said and hung up.

I sighed and put my phone in my pocket. I look over to my friends who are already wasted and shake my head. I walk back to the bar and they shove shots in my face.

"C'mon Kirst!! Turn up!!" Jenna slurred.

I chuckle and look at her for a moment. I shrug and take the shot. It burns going down my throat and I take another one. I have to catch up with these girls.

Avi POV

"Listen Avi. You need to let her have a good time, and YOU need to have a good time." Mitch said as we drove to our first destination.

"He's right man. I know you miss her and everything, but just think of how it will be when you see her walking down the aisle in her beautiful wedding dress." Scott said.

I imagine the day. I imagine her walking down the aisle to me, linked to her father's arm. I imagine the feeling when he let's her go to me and she becomes mine. I imagine us saying our vows, and I imagine that moment when the words "you may now kiss the bride" ring out. I feel a smile creep on my face as I think of the moment where she finally becomes mine.

"And it'll all be worth it." Kevin said as if he knew exactly what I was thinking, and we pull up to our first club.
