Chapter 14

KPOV

"What do you mean Matt is after Avi?!" Scott yelled as he paced up and down the tour bus, running his hands through his hair.

"I told you everything I know! If you want to read it again, here!" I yelled and threw my phone at him. I didn't mean to be so rude I...... I just can't imagine anything happening to Avi.

I pulled Avi into a hug and snuggled my face into his chest. I told myself I wouldn't cry, but the tears started to flow, soiling his shirt.

"I-I'm sorry." I said pulling away still looking down. He pulled my head back to his chest and whispered in my ear.

"I promise. I wont let anything happen. I love you too much to let anything happen."

I couldn't help it I started sobbing. The thought that Avi could be taken away from me at any moment was horrifying. He doesn't know what Matt is capable of. He has no idea. I lifted my head and looked him in the eye.

"You don't know what he's capable of. You don't know what he can do." I broke down again. "You.. Just... Don't... Know.." I said in between sobs.

He didn't say anything, I imagine he didn't have any words he just stood there embracing me, stroking my hair.

"How did he know we are here?" Kevin asked. He had a point, we were on tour, how did Matt know?

But I'm not the slightest bit surprised. Matt has many tricks up his sleeve, tricks they don't know about, tricks I don't know about.

"He probably follows us on twitter or instagram. We can block him so he doesn't know more of the personal stuff we do." Mitch said.

"That won't stop him." I sniffled. "He'll find a way. He always does."

"I told you, I wont let anything happen." Avi said looking in my eyes.

I know I shouldn't have, but I got mad.

"You just don't get it do you?!?!" I said shoving him away.

"He'll find a way! He always does! When you least expect it, that's when he'll strike!" I yelled. I was so fed up. None of them get it, I couldn't bear to look at them anymore. Especially Avi. I hurt him, I could see it in his face. I ran out the front door, I didn't know where I was going or what I was going to do, I just needed to.......get away. I heard the door slam and footsteps running behind me.

"Kirstie!" Avi yelled after me.

I just kept walking. His footsteps got faster and he grabbed my arm and spun me around.

"Listen to me! .....please."

"What Avi?! I already told you everything!! There's nothing else to talk about!!"

"You don't trust me.... Do you?" He asked. "I promised I'd keep you safe, and keep myself safe. But you don't think I can, do you?"

"You don't know him like I do, Avi!"

"I told you I'd keep us safe, and that's what I plan on doing, Kirstie!"

"Avi, just stop!! There's nothing you can do!! Quite acting like you can fix this!!"

"So you think shutting me out is going to help anything?! You think telling me I can't protect my own girlfriend is going to help anything?!"

I didn't say anything. We just stared at each other. If he thinks yelling is going to solve this.... then I'm done.

"Is that it?" I asked.

"Unless you have something to add."

"Then I guess we're done here." I said and walked past him. He just stood there. Tears started to form in my eyes. What did I just do? Did I really just leave him.... The one person who really loved me, the one I really loved..... My one protector?... Why...

APOV

How could I be so stupid?! The one person who I loved and cared for.....gone. Why didn't I stop her.... I just let her walk away... She probably hates me.... Then again why would she ever love someone like me?... She deserves better than me..
