Chapter 30

Avi POV

I woke up and stretched. Today's the day. I smiled to myself. I sat up and looked at the empty bed next to me. Confused, I looked around the room.

No Kirstie.

I looked at the time, 8:45. Wow, I woke up early. I rubbed my eyes and took a deep breath through my nose.

Bacon.

I got out of bed and brushed my teeth before heading down stairs.

"Hey babe, I didn't think you'd be up this early." She said and walked over to kiss my cheek.

"Well you cooked bacon, so." I chuckled.

She laughed and began to put everything on the plates.

"Well, you woke up just in time, because it's almost done. Go have a seat." She smiled.

I thanked her and pecked her cheek before going to sit. She came and sat across from me and we dug in.

"Sooo... What are we doing today?" She asked casually.

"Now, Kirstie. I already told you, it's a surprise." I smiled.

"Hey, I tried." She shrugged.

"But, it will be amazing." I said smiling.

"Ugh! Avi, just tell me already!" She begged.

"Nope." I smirked, and continued eating my food.

We were eating in silence when my phone buzzed. I took it out of my pocket to see a message from Mitch.

M: we found the BEST place!

A: Really? Where?

M: Not to far from y'alls apartment. Do you remember Olive Road?

A: Yeah

M: Okay, there's that park there. We figured you guys could hang there for a bit and do whatever lovey things you guys do. Then we found this trail! And it leads to the most GORGEOUS clearing with flowers and it's surrounded by trees. It's perfect Avi!

A: Sounds perfect! :) How have we not found that trail before?

M: idk but we found it now and it's perfect!

A: Awesome! I'm going to tell her she is going with Esther for some spa time before our date, and I'll head over there and check it out!

I texted Esther and told her it was about time for her and Kirstie's spa time.

"Avi?..."

"Y-yes?"

"Are you?" She asked laughing.

"Am I what?..." I asked very confused.

"Are you done silly?" She laughed.

"Oh, yes! Thanks babe." I chuckled.

"Who ya texting?" She asked as she made her way to the sink to put the plates away.

I got up out of my chair and walked behind her, wrapping my arms around her waist. I rested my head on her shoulder.

"Esther. I figured before our date, you and her could have some girl time and go to the spa." I said and kissed her neck.

She spun around and placed her hands on my sides, gently gripping my shirt.

"Really?!" She beamed.

"Would I joke about that?" I smiled.

"I don't know... Would you?" She lifted an eyebrow.

"No I wouldn't!" I laughed and pulled her close for a hug.

She pulled away slightly and looked at the clock on the microwave.

"What time?" She asked looking back to me and moving her hands to the back of my neck.

"10:30."

"That only gives me an hour!"

"You're basically ready already!"

"Babe! I have to go change, and then I have to-"

"You look perfect!"

"No, Avi I need to-"

"You're beautiful." I say and move my hands to her shoulders.

"I look ratchet.." She giggled.

"No you don't baby." I laughed and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

"So what now?" She smiled, and began to run her fingers through my hair.

"I don't know." I said sliding my hands down her back.

"Watch your hands!" She giggled.

I smirked and connected my lips with her neck. She gasped at my sudden action, and pulled my hair slightly. I detached my lips from her neck and let out a breathy moan. She slid her hands from my hair to the sides of my face and lifted my head to have my lips connect with hers. The kiss became more and more heated by the second as I slid my hands from her waist to her lower thighs and lifted her onto the counter. Her hands roamed my chest and back as I slipped my tounge into the passionate kiss. Our tounges danced in our mouths, fighting for dominance. She pulled me closer than I already was and wrapped her legs around my hips. Her hands found their way back up to my hair. God, I can't wait to be able to be like this every day with the girl I love. I just can't wait. We pulled away and she rested her forehead against mine, biting her lip. I smiled and hugged her close. She's absolutly perfect. I can't wait to make her my wife.

"Avi? Kirst?" Esther called as she walked to the kitchen.

"Oh, there you two are." She smiled.

"Here we are." I chuckled.

"You ready, Kirst?" She asked.

"Yep!" She said and I helped her down from the counter.

"Have fun, baby." I said and hugged her.

"Thank you so much." She said and gave me a sweet, soft kiss.

"Anything for you. Now go have fun." I smiled and shoo'd her out the door with Esther.

I closed the door and pressed my back to it. Now to go meet the guys. Suddenly, I got a unsettling pit in my stomach.

Boy, am I nervous.
