Chapter 28

Avi POV

After pizza and a little more shopping we made our way back to Kirstie and I's apartment. I had texted Esther to come by and distract Kirst so me and the guys could talk. She'll be excited to see Esther, she always is.

"ESTHER!!" She screamed as she walked through the door.

"KIRSTIE!!" She screamed equally as loud and brought her into a hug.

"Oh my gosh, we have so much to talk about!" Kirstie said.

"Yes, we do! Wanna go get ice-cream or something?"

"Well I just got back...... But okay!!" She smiled and came over to me to give me peck on the lips. "Bye babe, we'll be back."

"Have fun, baby." I said and they left.

"Okay..... Sooo...." Scott started.

"Yeah...." Kevin said.

"Well now I feel like have to say something." Mitch said.

We all laughed and sat on the couches.

"Have anything in mind?" Kevin asked.

"Well she's not really into fancy stuff. Do you think I should ask in a park?"

"Remember when y'all first kissed and it was in a park?! I think that's a great idea. And we'll help!" Mitch suggested.

"Mitch, that's perfect!!" I said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Thank you, thank you." Mitch said doing a little bow.

"Okay, well first thing's first. We need a ring." Scott smiled.

"You're right." I said and we all stood up and walked to our cars.

Kevin rode with me while Scott and Mitch rode together. When we arrived at the jewlery store I honestly was out of my element. I don't know how to choose a ring!! What was I thinking?!

"Oooooo mama likes this one!!!" I heard Mitch say from across the store.

Good, thing I have him here.

"Avi! Come look at this one!"

We all walked over to Mitch and he showed us the ring.

It was perfect.

"Wow....That's...."

"Perfect." I finished Kevin's sentence.

"Can I help you gentlemen?" A lady from behind the counter asked.

"Yes, I would like this one." I said pointing to the ring through the glass.

"Certainly, sir. If you would come over here, we can ring you up."

I walked over and she gave me the total. I pulled out my card and handed it to her. Once everything was payed for she handed the ring to me. With shaking hands, I took it. I can't believe this is happening.

"I hope you don't mind me asking sir, but are you planning to propose?"

"Yes ma'am I am." I smiled.

"That's so sweet. She's a lucky lady, my best wishes to you both." She smiled.

"Thank you." I returned the smile.

She walked away and I turned to face the guys, my hands still shaking.

"Awe, Avi." Mitch said and brought everyone into a group hug.

"My playa's growing up." Kevin said.

"I'm so proud of you, Avi." Scott said.

We quit hugging, and I stared at my best friends and took a deep breath.

"Let's go." I said and we walked out of the jewlery store.
