Meant to be?

Chapter 13

APOV

I can't wait!! This is going to be so perfect, I have everything planned out! First, we're going to eat at this really good pizza place that Kirstie has been wanting to try for the longest. Then, we will walk around in a shopping center for us to look around, and once it gets later we are going to walk to the park just like when we finally made us official. And finally, near the park there is a forest with this clearing that is the best place to look at the stars. But most of all I get to spend a whole day with Kirstie. I couldn't be more excited.

"Soo, whatcha got planned?" She asked.

"It's a surprise, I told you." I smiled. I was so giddy inside, this will be perfect.

We arrived at our first destination and I saw Kirstie's face light up.

"Oh my gosh!!! I've been wanting to go here for the longest!!"

Thank you for that info Scott and Mitch. I smiled to myself and got out.

I walked to her door and opened it for her. When she got out I laced my fingers with hers and we walked into the pizza place. After we ate we walked around the stores for a bit. I noticed it had started getting dark and I didn't want to waste time, this next part would be my favorite. We walked hand in hand for a little bit before Kirstie started getting anxious.

"Why wont you tell me where we're going?!" She tugged on my arm.

I stopped her and grabbed her shoulders to turn her towards me.

"Because. That would ruin it. It's going to be perfect. Do you trust me?"

"Of course I trust you."

"Good. We're almost there." I smiled and grabbed her hand and pulled her along. Finally, we arrived at the park. I walked with her over to the monkey bars like the night we first kissed. I climbed up and hung upside down and put my hands out to my side.

"Remember this?" I smiled.

She walked up to me, inches from my face.

"Yeah. Didn't it go something like this?" She grabbed the sides of my face and kissed me, just like the first night. Never have I kissed a girl and it feel exactly like the first, but with Kirstie, every kiss was like that. I hopped down and grabbed her hand.

"Come on. There's one more thing we have to do."

I took her to the clearing and like always there weren't any people there. I took her to the middle and we layed down in the soft grass. She was facing me and didn't really grasp what was going on.

"Why are we here?" She asked.

I gently grabbed her chin and moved her head to look at the sky. A gasp escaped her mouth and I knew she loved it. After awhile of just sitting there admiring the sky, I spoke up.

"Beautiful. Isn't it?"

"Words can't even begin to describe." She said as she snuggled deeper into my chest.

There was a silence, but it wasn't awkward. It was nice, peaceful, and enjoyable. I was sitting looking at the stars with my beautiful girlfriend, what more do I need? I checked my phone and realized it was almost midnight.

"Whoa, it's getting late we should probably head back." I suggested.

"Awwwwe......" She sighed. "Okay."

We got up and started the walk back to my car when Kirstie got a text.

M: I see your enjoying your little "date" with Avi.

"Avi."

I stopped. There was a sound of terror in her voice.

"What's wrong?"

"It's..... Matt." She was on the verge of tears, then she texted back.

K: Where are you?! What do you want?!

M: oh, don't worry about that. My fight isn't with you. But you might want to worry about that little boyfriend of yours.

She started to cry now.

"Kirst, what's wrong?!"

"We need to go right now!"

"Would you tell me what's wrong first!"

"Matt is after you Avi! We need to leave NOW!"
