🥀Chapter: 7

"Ikaw, magsalita ngayon."

Agad ako napalingon kay Mommy. Prente siya nakaupo sa tabi ko. Nagsisimula na mapuno ang loob ng auditorium gawa ng employee sa company namin. They are all here to listen to what the CEO has to say about what is going on or an update on the company.

Inalis ko ang suot kong shades. "I'm not ceo yet! I don't want to, Mommy!" I crossed my arms over my chest.

Sobrang daming employee, ayoko mautal-utal sa mga sasabihin ko.

Sinimangutan niya ako. "You are the one currently handling this, kaya ikaw na dapat ang nagsasalita ngayon."

Napabuga ako sa hangin.  I just leaned my back on the chair, doon ako nanahimik at inisip kung ano ang sasabihin sa unahan.

"Go, Sherel." Tinapik niya ang likod ko.

Inayos ko ang suot na office attire bago tuluyan umakyat sa stage. I immediately heard their applause when they saw me in front of them.

Tipid ako ngumiti at hinarap sila. I adjusted the mic before starting to speak.

"Good afternoon, everyone! Thank you for joining me today. I wanted to take this opportunity to address you all and share some important updates and thoughts regarding our company's vision and future."  Panimula ko habang confident nakatayo sa harap nila.

Nilibot ko muna ang paningin ko sa loob ng auditorium bago ulit magsalita. "Una sa lahat, gusto kong magpasalamat sa bawat isa sa inyo sa inyong dedikasyon at sipag. We have achieved remarkable success in the perfume industry due to your efforts and commitment. I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished together," I said with a smile.

"However, as we all know, the business landscape is constantly evolving. It is necessary for us to adapt and innovate in order to stay ahead of our competitors and meet the ever-changing needs a d desires of our customers." Dagdag ko.

"Our perfume product line is one that particularly interests me. Our perfumes have grown in popularity and have come to be associated with quality and elegance. However, we cannot afford to become complacent." Tuloy tuloy ang aking salita, habang palipat-lipat ang tingin.

Napatingin ako kay Mommy, she was just staring at me. All the employees nod as I speak. My hand is starting to get cold, I can't help but be nervous.

Ganito ako palagi kapag madaming tao nakapaligid sa akin, I feel like they will all judge me like my school mates in senior high school.

Sinabi ko lahat ang mga dapat gawin, the things that should be improved to make our company even more successful.

Napatingin ako kay Mommy, nakangiti lang ito habang pinapanood ako sa bawat sinasabi ko sa unahan. Tuloy lang ako sa pagsasalita sa tulad ng pagbibigay ng advice at ilang information.

"Lastly, I want to acknowledge that challenges will arise along this journey. But together, as a cohesive team, we have the collective knowledge, skills, and determination to overcome obstacles and set new benchmarks in the perfume industry. We can write the next chapter of success for Luxurscent Perfume Company."

Tipid ako ngumiti. "Thank you all for your unwavering dedication and commitment. Let's work hand in hand and steer our company towards even greater heights. That's all, thank you. Good job, everyone!"

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag nang magsimula sila pumalakpak. Agad ako tumutingin kay Mommy, nakatayo na ito para tumaas rin. May pahabol ata kaya tumaas.
