Chapter 35

"I have to go." I frowned at him.

Binitawan ako ni Yuri, "Oh..."

I stared at his face. I have to go... but I can't move an inch now that he's here in front of me. Ilang taon kong sinubukan na hanapin siya at ngayon ay nandito na siya sa harap ko. In flesh, alive and kicking. The father of my son.

"C-Can we meet?" He asked. Hindi ko na kailangan pang magtanong sa kanya. Yuri pulled his phone out of his pocket, "I just want to tell you and ask you some things. Is that okay? Is it okay for me to get your number?"

I slowly nodded, taking the phone in his hands. Nanginginig ang kamay ko habang nagtangka sa pagtatype. I think Yuri noticed it, he held my hand lightly and took the phone back in his hands. Napatingin akong muli sa kanya, he smiled at me, "Let me type the number for you."

I nodded before telling him my current cellphone number. Pagkatapos 'non ay tumango na siya sa akin.

"You should go. I think you're running late. Let's catch up next time." He said.

"Tawagan mo ako." Sabi ko sa kanya.

Napahinto siya sa sinabi ko, para bang hindi niya naintindihan agad.

"You have to call me, okay?" I asked him, "Marami rin akong sasabihin sayo."

He smiled and nodded, "Yes, Daenerys. I will."

I glanced at him one last time before turning my back. Mabilis ang lakad ko papunta sa restaurant kung nasaan si Juan Luis. Medyo nagtagal kanina sa salon kaya alam kong kanina pa talaga siya nandito. My hands are still shaking. Seeing Yuri right now... is so unexpected. Hindi ko alam kung dapat ko na bang sabihin kay JL.

Isang waiter ang nag-aabang sa akin sa labas pa lang. Kilala niya ako dahil kahit na hindi ko pa nasasabi kung sino ang sadya ko sa restaurant ay pinapasok na agad ako. He guided me towards one of the private room in the huge restaurant.

"Thank you." Sabi ko sa kanya nang pinagbuksan ako ng pinto.

When I entered the room, I saw Juan Luis in his formal clothes. He went to me, holding a bouquet of red roses. It's the biggest bouquet of red roses I've ever seen and it reminds me of the bouquet of roses I found in his condominium unit years ago. Noong bumalik ako at kinuha ang mga gamit. At ang sulat na kakabit ng mga bulaklak.

"Good evening,"

"What is this for?" I asked.

"For you." He answered. I looked at him, "You're doing great. I just want you to know that."

Juan Luis is, especially, dashing tonight. He's wearing an all black suit. It makes me want to chuckle because I don't really know why he wants to do this. His hair is similar to a young Leonardo DiCaprio, like what I see in movies. And then it reminded me of the two movies that Leonardo starred in.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"All for you," He whispered back, "You are so beautiful..."

"And so are you..." I smiled at him.

We ate dinner after that conversation. Hindi ko na kailangang pumili sa menu nila at basahin ang mga komplikadong salita dahil ginawa na iyon ni Juan Luis para sa akin. We ate quietly, with a little music from the musician inside the room.
